Just saying, but he's an excellent speaker, and the brother is doing amazing work. May Allah grant him ease in all matters.

This was an interesting video and i agree with everything. Unfortunately not all sisters lives are the same and they don't have practising fathers and brothers.
I was born in a Muslim cultural orientated family and the only girl in the house of 4 brothers. I was a burden to my father the day i was born, because he wanted only sons to avoid the financial responsibility of raising me.
As a child i didn't receive my father and brothers love and only deserved emotional and physical abuse. I came to the point where i started to hate myself because of my gender. I became a feminist and started hating men, it reached such a level that i didn't trust any males and i was questioning why it was so unfair to be a female. Alhamdullilah the good side of this was, i didn't make male friends or get into haraam relationships because of my hate and trust issues. Anyway, i set about to prove to my father that girls are not a financial burden.
I got my first job as a teenager and started paying house keep which paid towards the bills, i didn't rely on my father and brothers to support me and i travelled alone to places i needed to go. Alhamdullilah then AllahSWT guided me to Islam and he gave me the strength to cope. I'm 34 now and i chose to stay single for the rest of my life, marriage is not a priority for me because of the emotional trauma i went through in my childhood and i wish to live the rest of my life in peace Insha Allah. I know that whatever blessings i didn't receive here i will get in the next world.
I am studying a part time Alima course for my own spiritual development. I'm an independent working Muslimah, not by choice but the circumstances i was born in.

it's funny how we Muslim dont give importance to hijrah , to the point a non muslim had to say to me(ofcourse not in a negative way) that "why don't you live in pakistan , life is hard in this country "
