    Can attest 4A is awesome for driving around town in the snow. Hitting patches of snow, then pavement. Worth the $ (badlands owner)

    I agree on the auto high beams, they are high to low all the time. As far as gas mileage, I have the 2.3L with the manual(2dr). I did upgrade the to 35's, and my fuel avg is 17 mpg. I like the way it looks now, and the drop in the mileage is worth it to me.

    You need some proper winter tires or some KO2s. I have that on my Raptor and not problem on ice but that could be the added weight. Good video, just subscribed 🎉!

    Here’s a REAL like experience from someone who actually BOUGHT one, not simply reviewed it;
    If Ford can’t get actual, SIMPLE things like electrical systems work properly after HOW many years of a major production company?
    Save your money. It looks great but it’s guaranteed to disappoint, don’t worry about “wheelbase” FMC needs time to work on it. Fact.

    Your right about the gas mileage and with 35's and taller gears my mileage is 16.5 freeway

    I love the clowning of EVERY you tube off roader! 😂😂 I think the same things everytime the algorithm send me one of those vids. You guys should do an off-road bingo with words like " BEEFY, 40's, coil overs, Fox shocks, Rock solid, Flexy" etc.

    Try messing with your auto high beam delay on the center screen. Seems like it helps. My complaint is the fade up to high beam on auto. Also, look at how to adjust your windows on UA-cam. there's an adjuster at the bottom of the doors that keeps the windows from shaking.

    Good review, I have heard there are issues/concerns with rusting. Can you share a photo or a video from underneath your Bronco? Apparently, there are lots of bare metal without any rust protection

    Another great helpful video. Your comment about "squirrely" is unsettling. Did you say it happens with traction control off and/or in 2WD? Is the safety then to leave in 4WD all the time?

    I disagree 1000% with the slides. Its very controllable. I can full throttle it, and handle it back and forth and its very predictable with or without traction control. Sas package, running 35s or 37s, right at 2k rpm at 75. 35 below here in WYO and I cant run the heated seats on high for more than a few minutes, nor the heater (2dr hardtop) Maybe its the marine vinyl, but the seats will burn you up.

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  Рік тому

      Your tires must have a big play in the ability to control the bronco. It's completely uncontrollable when the back slides out on this one (coming from someone with alot of winter Drifting experience)

    Clearly you haven't used the newest Uconnect. My wife's Grand Cherokee L has a beautiful 10" display with the newest version of Uconnect. It does look way better than my Sync in my Bronco. But hers disconnects from Android Auto and Apple CarPlay constantly. like every minute or two. They keep claiming it will be fixed in an update, but after a year of ownership, my wife wants trade a car that she otherwise loves, because of the constant disconnecting. And it doesn't matter if it's plugged in or on Bluetooth. Mine in the Bronco just works. I can appreciate the simplicity of it. And that's coming from an IT professional.

    You could have gotten 4A in a Big Bend, and honestly, you simply ordered a Bronco that wasn't meant for off-roading. You probably didn't get a rear locker, did you? Rather than picking options like the advanced 4x4 transfer and lockers, you decided to get $800 headlights. Also, the 2.3 and 2.7 get about the same gas mileage.

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  Рік тому

      Did not order. Someone backed out as soon as it arrived and got it way under MSRP for being a Ford employee with D plan

    • @mpeugeot
      @mpeugeot Рік тому +1

      Well that explains it... Sorry you didn't get a Bronco with better options, the 4A and rear locker are game changers. I have the 2 door OBX.

    So I got a 2022 4Runner TRD off-road premium and my next buy I definitely want to get a bronco I want to get a two door hard top badlands with a manual transmission in a Sasquatch package I know you can only get a manual with the 2.3l but my question is what engine would you say is most reliable the 2.3l or 2.7l v6 ?

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  Рік тому

      The first batch of the 2.7 had some bad production parts. That has been resolved. Both motors have a history within Ford that shows pretty solid reliability. 2.3 in previous versions had head gasket issues. Both are good choice. I don't know that reliability of the motor needs to be a huge concern.

    • @davidaix5771
      @davidaix5771 Рік тому +1

      @Performance On Wheels what about as fare as transmissions I definitely want to get the manual because I think they're more fun and I really miss having a manual but how's the 10-speed Auto are they reliable and the manual has to be reliable it's a manual transmission they've been making manual transmissions forever I would think they can't mess that up?

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  Рік тому

    Why would you turn off traction control in a truck when driving on the road.

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  Рік тому

      Driving down a road. I would not. Driving in adverse conditions at low speeds, I would. Snow at an intersection, most off road environments as an example.

    I really think ford is dumb in a lot of ways and one is trying to copy other manufacturers. Build the same mistakes instead of improving.They should have been a foot longer wheelbase(2 door) minimum and an extra half foot on the rear at least. Make it roomy. The option of having only 2wd for the people who are not going off road. In places that have no bad weather. It will make it a lighter truck. Why carry the weight of a transfer case and extra axles. And have the option of carrying the spare underneath, let the bumper do its job.
