I really am impressed with the flow of the skirt. I can see how well it went together after doing a mock-up and changing the darts. The lining, too, adds a little bit of a zing! I love polka dots, especially when they're not overpowering, and the fabric, of course, adds body to the skirt. The pocket is a lot of fun, it's being so nice and large. Very impressed with how it lays so flat in the seam. Also, I liked the idea of hanging the skirt on the dress form for a couple of days so that it can relax before putting in the hem. And the banding at the bottom of the hem taking the brunt of maybe dragging on the ground etc., this is such a great idea to protect the fan brake and prolong the wear of the skirt. Thank you for making this video, i have watched it a couple times.
OMG you nailed it!! Also, I was sweating the entire time you were talking about how you cut the three front panels in one piece in order not to waste fabric while having in mind that you don't have any fabrics to spare actually, bhe final effect was worth the stress I think :D
That came out very well indeed! I strongly approve of the clever way you worked the seams and pockets 👍🏻
Thank you! Now that I've figured out the trick, I think the next skirt will be super speedy to put together (whenever I get the time lol)
