I have made 3 Matchas (linen and rayon) - love them! Just a hint for anyone thinking of trying it. (Definitely try it!) It is a voluminous top, but don't be tempted to size down based on the wearing ease. The pattern instructions suggest choosing a size based on your shoulder measurement. That is a good instruction to take seriously or risk a finished garment that has too tight a fit in your shoulders. Anticipate lots of compliments on your finished piece!
My first time watching, I loved this sewing/homesteading combo! I’m a vain fashionable lady but normally when I’m watching sewing videos I’m thinking “but can I feed chickens in it?” With most of these items I could see them being both pretty and functional 💜

Re the dress riding up at the front. I think you need to make a shoulder adjustment. I cannot recall if this issue needs the forward shoulder or backward shoulder adjustment, but I think that would help.
