Definitely not the same. When Evolving Skies came out prices for BBs and singles TANKED. You could find ES boxes for like $115 at your LCS. The one I have still sealed I bought for $120 about a week after release and pre order prices were hovering around $140 for a box. So I wouldn't say they had similar market trends but the hype surrounding those sets are definitely similar. Surging will carry crazy long term value though!
