- If you're travelling to Thailand in 2023, then you MUST visit the Koh Phi Phi islands! Koh Phi Phi is maybe the most beautiful islands in Thailand! so much so, that it brought me to tears. if you're travelling solo or in a group, Koh Phi Phi Don is where you'll find all the accommodation and a great base to take a boat tour like the Phi Phi pirate boat tour and explore all the islands, from Monkey beach to Viking Cave and the iconic Maya Bay, made famous in the movie "The Beach".
Maya Bay was closed in 2018 but Maya Bay 2023 is open again for tourists. I'll show you the path and the rules of visiting Maya Bay in 2023. Maya Bay lagoon is also open for snorkelling and swimming and I got to see so many beautiful fish!
I also got to experience the most stunning Thailand sunset.
