We just found a boat driver the day before down at the pier. I believe it was around $50 USD for 4 hours, but I'm sure prices have increased in the last 2 years. I hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 💛
Maya Bay needs mid day light to be really worth it. Then you get crowds though. I guess you have to pick which you want more. Most of these beaches dont look like much if the light isnt right.
Not Phi Phi ha. I recommend Koh Lanta, and then spend one or 2 nights in Phi Phi. The island is tiny, and is hard to get away from the chaotic side of it, but you could check out Long Beach area. Thank you for watching & being a subscriber ♥️
Me, an idiot, went up to viewpoint 2 in April this year, at 14.00 in the noon, right after eating. To this day I dont know how I didn't die 😂. I agree about Maya Bay not being worth it. It is beautiful but if you are only 3 day's in the area you kinda loose a lot of time on other beaches where u can actually swim. I will be back next year in March and this time I think of visiting Koh Yao Noi and Railay beach when I am in the area
Oh man, that sounds MISERABLE hahah!! You will LOVE Koh Yao Noi & Railay Beach!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
Walking is the only form of transportation, or taking a boat to get to further more remote areas. It's a very small island. Thanks for watching and being a subscriber 💛
There are loads of islands far better than Ko Phi Phi. Try Koh yao yai, Koh yao noi , Koh Kood , Koh Mook and Koh Lanta. Once you have seen Maya beach the rest of the island is not that great.
I totally agree, Koh Lanta is my favorite Thailand island!! I also really enjoyed Koh Mook, and Koh Yao Noi. I have UA-cam videos on all of the islands. You should check them out. Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
I was there in 2013.... At that time, I do believe they were cleaning up a LOT from the tsunami... A lot was damaged. On the beachside we stayed, we were told several people died, that worked in the bars on the water, during the tsunami. (I'm sure tourism has done a lot, though.)

Why did I not even think of jellyfish being there?! 🫣
Hahah I didn't either. I think I always forget that they exist 😅
@@MaddieTravel bahahaha same!
How much did you pay for the boat? And how many hours was the trip?
Pay for the boat in cash, it was for about 4-5 hours. I hope this helps and have a great trip!! Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
@@MaddieTravel How much is it ? do you bargain ? Thanks
cycling allowed in island? what is the medium of travelling ?

Great video. I would never go to Maya Bay though. Independent thinkers would never go somewhere because of a shite American movie lens.
Very good point, but it is insanely stunning!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
I dont care what anyone says,,railay beach is nicer
You can't beat the sunsets from Railay Beach!! I hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 💛

I was on Phi Phi in 1991, what the hell have they done to the place? It is ruined. So sad. It looks horrible.
Mass tourism has definitely ruined a lot of incredible places. I would love to have seen it back then. Thank you for watching & being a subscriber ♥️
