No bother 👍 Thats the thing I wouldn't want to price up those parts brand new , if you could get them 2nd hand for reasonable money it would be ok as even that cable goes directly to the spool so could be lifted off in 1 part and you know your machine is good otherwise in all
If you priced the bits new you'd probably be better put the money towards a newer machine in all , yours would be worth a few pound as it is really to sell
If you were to go 2nd hand route you could buy a tractor side 3 pin plug and wire it with old clips from a electric fence energizer then take a battery with you to test you can hear the solenoids do click before buying
These electric controls are easyer than pulling levers on cabble control machine but they are just on off switchs no feathering not worth converting .they have to be proportional spool valve to be any advantage over cables . Prob be better fitting new cables would make a big difference if cables get stiff or sticky they are useless
To be able to feather the functions I think you have to have manual cable controls , but as these age they become surrepticiously stiff , i have had to change them on a front loader conversion , for other reasons , and am delighted at just how light & precise the new ones are , Indemar cable controls from HTL Ludlow , or their nearest agent to you . Grab the nettle & change them .
That’s a great job lad, do you think it was worth doing when you add in time and cost involved? Very interested in this

The trouble with electric controls is it's all or nothing
Cables and levers are so much better for fine control
Bit like post knocker really have to flick them
Propa job with the gaffa tape and cable ties
Tbf that was already on it 🤣, cable tie and electric tape on curvy front part of arm wrest our doing

Think it was cables not fitting his newer tractor as tidy he was wandering about electric conversion
Aii thats right have to quickly flick them, bit like fine adjustment on a post knocker really
