Man, these crossovers are insanely good. I'm so impressed that they used Superman so fully this time 'round. Can not wait for Crisis! My only wish is that the crossover lasted 6 or even 9 episodes. Still, they packed a lot of high quality superheroing into these three episodes. 9/10 from me.
I think it will have 5 episodes, one per show. But it would be awesome 6 or 7 episodes.

Elseworld was good but I always wanted a crossover with Arrow and supergirl 2 episode special. Then a crossover with flash, supergirl, arrow, and even superman but no elseworld.

even Henry Cavill is back for DCEU Superman! I would love to see the interaction between Henry Cavill and Tyler Hoechlin

well vibe didnt have his powers at this time he used one of his extrapolators to breach there and im assuming he cant copy powers of technology

I know that both Barry and Oliver have switched identities but they also switched personalities as well.
Junid Afzaal so tru they are starting to because berry is acting more bad person to not say worse and Oliver well you know soft and sweet like berry.
It was part of an earlier scene. To best use the other's abilities, they had to think like them. Barry's speed is tied to his euphoria from running. Oliver's skill is tied to his anger and darkness from his past traumas.

I liked how Green Arrow Barry used his knowledge as the Flash to devise the plan to trap Amazo (knowing that he wouldn't be able to run and phase at the same time...even though speedsters have done exactly that on the show...ahem...anyway). It would've been cool to have a slo-mo scene where Oliver Flash used some super speed martial arts or gymnastics that he knows from being Green Arrow.
I know this is a loophole saying Barry can phase and run at the same time but amazo can't, but if u watch the episode I think he meant he can't phase and run at the same time when Oliver grabbed amazo and was counter phasing with amazos phasing. But Barry's line was a bit weird as we all are like hey Barry can phase and run at the same time so amazo should be able to aswell
The reason couldn't run and phase at the same time is lack of experience, Barry's years of practice and experiences allowed him to grow and unlock more abilities as the show Progressed. If amazo had time to hold on to those powers for long coupled with the fact that it's an Android, it truly would be unstoppable, because over time would be able to find a way around the weaknesses that came with those abilities
@@savedtoace3005 except running through a wall was how Barry learned how to phase. It took more experience to learn to phase without running.

I know some of the shows devolved into their own issues and then eventually came back around to having good writing again in their final seasons...but I think we should all appreciate how overall, the CW REALLY delivered on giving us some great DC content that we only dreamed about being possible growing up in the 90s. They delivered some real awesome shit and comic book accurate dream content to the screen.
Still feel sad they dont make these crassovers anymore.They where so good and the highlight of the end of every year.

also this is a great scene to show how barry could be strong asf if he just used his phasing more often. i swear the guy could phase through nearly every attack thrown at him but he just doesn’t.
I came here to write this but I'm glad someone (you) already did.
The fact that they fit in each other's shoes so well is kinda scary, Oliver running as the Flash looks hella more aggressive to go up against as well as it looked like he barely slows down in comparison to how often Barry does XD
which makes sense if you think about it.
barry, despite being the flash and having to move like that regularly, deep down isn't a very "serious" person, and has less baggage, as a result despite being the fastest man alive, he's able to stop and appreciate the little things more naturally, and actively has options to engage lightly due to his ability. ollie by comparison is an emotionally damaged combat PTSD case with no chill and crazy hangups, who due to his lack of powers, type of enemies, and his approach, has to go in for the killshot more often. he's essentially a sniper.
for barry a normal solution is to just mach 3 up to them and knock em out, while ollie's go to option when pressed is still an arrow to the throat and needed to develop trick arrows and other tech to give himself more options. the flash has the time to stand around and wave to the crowd, but ollie is a wanted terrorist and standing still is a great way to get shot at by SCPD. it makes sense that ollie would be going 100% at all times, he's got accuracy in spades but has always been limited by physics when it came to speed(arrows can only fly so fast), and has never been able to just take it all in, having to constantly run/evade to stay in the game. so from the angle of why barry regulates better, it's because his environment/situation allows him to, while ollie can't regulate because he always has to be alert, on point, and on the move. ollie can't "Turn off".
ollie had to survive nature and drug cartel thugs scouting/manhunting for him for 2 years, and needed to hunt and eat some strange stuff to survive. Ollie's limit is not the same as barry's, for barry it's a natural block, for ollie, often times it's an artificial block he self imposes, more like a wall in his way. ollie's morals and ethics are very, not fluid/flexible per se, but more ephemeral/intangible. he's been forced to survive and forced to kill for a prolonged period, alone. he has no qualms with crossing what society calls hard lines, he's already done it before and crossed his personal lines on most of those issues, the societal line in the sand is an arbitrary and artificial restriction he CHOOSES to follow. ollie is always running at a 10 out of 10 intensity and only dials it down to meet others' ethical palettes by choice.
the point is, knowing all this about ollie's history and current environment, it makes sense that if you give him superspeed he's just gonna go for direct approach angles and redline his velocity. he's used to going at full intensity and he's used to fighting as an archer, using line of sight and angle of attack almost interchangeably in his mind, so he's doing the same thing here, except he realizes he's now the arrow.
where barry has a deeper intrinsic understanding of how to regulate his speed, ollie is effectively shooting himself like an arrow and hanging on for the ride. he's saying "i want to be THERE" and then just opening the speedforce "floodgates" and riding the wave, like drawing back and firing a bow, he's readying for a full power sprint, aiming for the target destination, loosing himself, and then hoping he was on target. he keeps blowing past people when he tries to stop because he's trying to time shutting off the Speed at the right time but he's failing to calculate time/distance for deceleration. as such he still has too much inertia and he needs an extra 30 yards to stop.
Talk about wasting time. "Gotta say something dark before I let the arrow fly despite fatigue being a real problem with holding back an arrow at full draw."
A 'rogue' that can copy the abilities of the metas it encounters?

4:23 That's not how viruses work. Unless Amazo has a self-destruct function and the virus triggered it (which is not what the virus does) then the virus show only kills the software, not the hardware.
It's entirely possible the virus ramped up its energy consumption and caused its components to overheat, and that one or more were explosive under high temperatures.

@@shadowrylander you are right but just to correct you. Actually amazo was trying to escape by phasing and oliver(flash) was vibrating (phasing) to counter his phasing and preventing him from escaping.
Kryptonite wasn't vibration, it simply hit him i guess because it was shot by arrow and kryptonite bypassed invulnerability anyways. They just kept him still to eat that kryptonite arrow.
Edit: if they given him time, he probably would have made himself immune to kryptonite.
