I love the hidden detail of "how long was I gone". He time traveled back a little it seems. If you didn't know the crossover happened, you'd just think he went into the speed force for a second or something.
I’m not really sure traveled back is right. It’s possible time fluctuated into basically different time zones between the different earths. What seemed like seconds to team Flash really were seconds while Barry and the others experienced time as usual.
1st scene is hilarious. He doesn't know shes Supergirl so he would rather let her burn than risk a sexual assault allegation. He was about to just nope the hell out of there.
I don't know how the rest of this episode went, but I like the way they didn't have to fight each other, the rapidity with which Barry figured things out, and how easily he just introduced himself and asked for help. This avoided so many comic book cliché's.
I love how Ezra asks "Barry, what are you doing?" and then it cuts away to a scene where ezra is choking that woman outside the night club and shoplifting and being a general asshole.
I feel as though The Flash should have the most chemistry with everyone in DC (or, at the very least, the Justice League); it seems to suit well with his abilities

By the time they did the crossover, Supergirl wasn't part of the CW. That's why it only happened on Supergirl 1x18 and didn't have a second part on The Flash. So the writers couldn't actually make a reference to the other show until the CW bought the rights to Supergirl. That also explains why the 4 night crossover only happened in season 2 of Supergirl.

The Flash amazed himself for breaking the dimensional barrier into Supergirl's Earth without even trying before saving her and her secret identity while in her Kara Danvers disguise.
It'd be even better if they weren't all superhero shows. Just have him pop into Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a bit and then pop out. Have some late-night comic turn out to be part of the Multiverse.

If Supergirl gave the Flash a super-kiss for saving her secret identity after a bad woman pushed her out the window while disguised as Kara Danvers, the scarlet speedster would've been so touched. Good that he realized he came to Supergirl's Earth by mistake before heading to the Central City on her Earth.
If you fast forward to barry’s speech out of context at 4:25 it sounds like he’s trying to flirt with kara. They should have been endgame as opposed to iris.
supergirl is still able to keep up with flash in this stage of his power. maybe she still can keep up even in his full power, but i guess the difference really is that kara cant access the speed force and flash can, that makes his faster than her just a little bit.
I know this is an edited version of the series, haven't watched it before, but how does Barry know anything about Kara and James Olsen? Seems like they didn't know anything about each other on this first meeting, did he know Supergirl before? How would he not know her here?

Maybe at that point he'd inadvertently travelled not only through the Multiverse, but time travelled too.. Space and time is a sticky thing.
