That red and while combo looks really good! I'm actually not too mad about losing the interior - just for the sake of weight. Are the headlights new for this model? I was thinking the V1 only had the lights in the bumper.
yeah, the heritage is sick. The headlights were on the v1 (and they were able to turn on and off... where as this is always on :( ). As for the interior... eh... i can always remove it if I am worried about weight... but to take the option away, makes me sad...
Glad it wasn't just me who didn't get the sticker pack. The box even mentions it on the back in the middle description. I was looking forward to adding some Badlands logos to mine to match my Eruption Green Badlands Sasquatch.
Why am I also most excited about this truck having the RED battery connector? OJ drove a different year white bronco but I’d definitely want that year white bronco body instead!
OJ cool ken yeah i like it, love the raptor sitting it the driveway there coming to aus soon spewing the didn't make a v8 choice like the rubicon with the 470 hp v8 hemi so cool, but i suppose a twin turbo 3lt with the 10 speed be ok just not built for the long haul like they used to be but like anything new these days what is cheers Ken
Everyone else moving forward and axial still going backwards. Darked out windows and new colors….. yay! I guess they plan to never actually give us any upgrades. Everyone will continue to hype them and the fan boys will keep on buying so why change I guess 🤦🏻♂️
I agree that they really need to step it up and bring us something new. I dont feel like it would be hard to do a buggy chassis (like the injora rock buggy) as an RTR and even if it was still the same old servo and motor, a new design thats actually a tube style cage would be welcome. Something to remember is that people tend to buy these things based on the body for 90% of their decision. :-\ It would be cool if they sold a basic "essentials" kit with axles, shafts, and trans like Karibouski said.
@@TheShopMiniRC you’re also right. And that bronco does look good for sure. Got a v1 myself (totally modified though but still I liked it stock too), but you can get the body alone from axial too. Of course, getting only select parts separately makes for a more expensive build, especially from Axial, but I’d rather build a 24 from scratch for 300€ and have a truck that actually performs and look good doing it and on which there’s not a single part you’ll want to change. Fortunately for us atermarket is huge for this platform and you can easily get parts a any price point from bigger or very small makers. So…maybe a builders kit or and essentials bundle from axial like you said would be nice for sure ! 🙌🏻 Thanks for the great content 👌🏼
That’s really broken heart. I thought they might upgrade the motor or upgrade the the chassis not just black windows and that’s all🤣 they still stuck on 2019
I bought a cr18p rushmore furitek 1 month ago (my traxxas is broken and repairing it is too expensive), I just took the axial base camp 5 days ago for my nephew. How to say .... Axial must seriously question itself with this, the scx24 is really not great at all, it is completely outdated and obsolete. Either they completely update it (brushless & co) or they release a 1/18 to finally compete with hpi, cr18 p, furitek, FMS ... etc. Traxxas is also starting to lose ground, especially on the price and basic brushed electronics. (they should also review their copy !!!) At this stage for me it is a useless toy because even by upgrading it it will cost you 2X more than a furitek. Avoid, don't buy this at all, unless it's for your children.
you have to remember that 80% of a rigs capability is its size. The scx24 isn't designed (and never was) to compete with larger sized rigs. Of course you can upgrade it and get it there but as a stock truck, its only fair to compare it to its same "weight class". I love all the other trucks you mentioned, but to compare them directly, out of the box, is unfair. If those other platforms were the same dimensions as the scx24, the scx would be at the top of the performance list (with the exception of the brushless rigs). If you are looking at building a high end, competition based truck, the scx24 is still one of the top dogs. It's got the most aftermarket support of ANY RC EVER... which is impressive in itself. I do wish axial would step up their game some with the scx24, but it still has its place.
@@TheShopMiniRC Of course, I completely agree with you. (although traxxas trx4m is brushed without speed and even rather bad for crawling out of the box and much more expensive) In this case even comparing it with another 1/24 of the FMS type for example it is still less good out of the box than the fms out of the box! What is axial waiting for to put a 2-speed gearbox to at least be at the same level as fms in brushed? I say that the scx is bad out of the box, after of course modified it is something else (I have 2 axial scx24 modified rt I love them, besides I just took an inora bug body for one of them 😍) but out of the box it is really time that axial does better. In Europe it's still 150 euros (140 dollars) which is expensive compared to a Furitek CR18P at 180 euros (170 dollars) brushless!!!
By now I'm just calling the guys at axial stupid, the same old crap with black windows and no interior, used to be an scx24 fanboy now I'm just a hater 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I dont think it warrants being a "hater". Remember, there are tons of options out there and many people buy these based 90% on bodies they like. I do hate (and think its a step backwards) to remove the interior and black out the windows.
@@TheShopMiniRC it does witch is good 👍 but I wish they'd do something different look at fms hobbyplus hpi I'm not hating I just want them to get better I know it's tried n trusted platform but compared to just mentioned company's you don't get much for the money
My neighbor has that red and white styled Bronco. Pretty cool and different looking truck. Ill have to show him this. 😊

thanks my dude! I put a lot of effort into the running video.

Yeah, the twin turbo is great, but it's no V8!
Ken what motor mount is on the red one?
It’s the PN racing motor mount for their large can motor.
Did I see a stock scx24 bronco do the NXT first try successfully? 😶😶
it was actually the 2nd try. First try I wasn't recording and i rolled lol.
Song was awesome. Who did the music?
Thanks!! I did with a few different tools.
@ you have talent my friend.

❤️❤️🤘🔥❤️❤️
Can i purchase the just oil filled shocks from V2 bronco and install the on my V1?
i believe horizon sells just the shocks, yes. However... i would HIGHLY recommend the nexx racing oil filled shocks for the scx24
@TheShopMiniRC gotcha thank you for the recommendation. It would also work for the dead bolt right?
@ yep. They all use the same length shocks in the stock configuration.
@@TheShopMiniRC thank you

😂 for real ! I’d rather have them sell axles, driveshafts and transmission bundle at that point. No one cares about the rest of stock scx24 no more.
