A few months ago Winchester Ammunition reached out about a project, so in this video we build a HUGE Desk & EPOXY Sign for one of their shooting facilities in Ohio. This build was a ton of fun and a huge challenge in some regards. We use some new tools and it ends up looking amazing! You're going to love this one.

As a new viewer watching these older videos it's pretty cool how the tone has changed. The finished products are still great in these older videos, but I gotta say the new stuff is on a different level.

Quick tip for painting PVC pipe: make sure you degloss it with sandpaper, emory cloth or scotch pad before painting.

You should get a mini split system for your shop! They're silent, and keeps your area cool.
You can see the genuine amount of stress you were under on your face as the project continued on and you got closer and closer to the deadline. The relief I felt just watching you complete it all on time, isn't even in the same galaxy compared to the relief you must've had and how amazing you probably felt after having what seemed like an anvil sized weight be lifted off your chest as soon as you pulled up into the driveway of the destination in Ohio. Those are always some of the best most rewarding projects as well as the ones that strip about a year and a half off of your life span. Great work as always John.
I miss Winchester, both my parents worked there for 18 years till the day it closed down in new haven, Connecticut. Still have old note paper from when they were u.s repeating arms

Speaking of being overheated, maybe you can relate to this. Back when football coaches didn't have to care about children's well-being, during a summer practice a kid had a seizure from being overheated. Our offensive line coach yelled out while he was mid seizure "That's the best footwork you've had all year boy". So if you can take some two a days, shop heats no problem and people of UA-cam will have seizures if the audio isn't perfect.

Composite plastic Brad nails are a great alternative fastener to hold down sheet goods on your CNC. They sheer free with a tap of a hammer and if a cutting tool runs into a composite nail it won’t damage the cutting tool!
This was one of my favorites I just started wood working. I know very little but enough to get by. Your videos are amazing, funny, and they do help. It just was my birthday and I got a bunch of stuff for it. My big project coming up is a corner desk for my room. Then a workbench that's small but use-able
