Broke my hydro pump!

Gosh darn it! All this monkeying around on the project, I broke a brush holder on the electric motor of the hydraulic pump! Fortunately, I have another pump and motor around. However, it’s smaller and requires a whole different style of connector to hook it up.
While it wouldn’t be enough for a loader, it should be plenty for power steering and the 3-point lift.

Not when it's half empty. Also, I'm sure he will 3D print another cup that's deeper and then upgrade to a bottle with a lid on it. Solved.

Order hydraulic fittings lines and the like from surplus center I have added hydraulics to 3 antique tractors and they had the best prices for such a complete selection

I took a look. Prices were a little better, but I’m also already done hooking up the smaller pump, instead of waiting on an order in the mail. I can also carry the pump into the brick and motor store and right there in the aisle look to see if it’s the correct parts and that they actually do fit.

@@BenjaminNelsonX Yeah, I have a local pawn shop that's quite huge and they do a lot of different things inside, including making custom hydraulic lines. You can't beat a local store like that. They can make any line I want with old used fittings on brand new hoses and at pawn shop prices. It's great. :)

Where are the batteries intended to go? Total kWh? Also how are you thinking of hooking up the throttle? 🤔

Batteries will go above the motor.
The original throttle is a rotating bar on the instrument panel that went down a stat and then to a cable and to the engine. I think I can put something like a PB-6 at the base of the shaft and have it turn that directly.

@@BenjaminNelsonX You could always 3D print a clamshell mount or clamp to make it work. 3D printing opens up a lot of doors.

Not quick and easily. I think the whole thing will need to come apart for a proper repair to the brush holders. Might even require trying to find some unobtainium replacement parts.
