I’m a Gatlinburg local- nothing more than a fan of the Mysterious Mansion. It is my favorite attraction in Gatlinburg and the first place I try and take friends and family when they come into town! I moved here 3 years ago and have been coming to Gatlinburg since I was a kid. I can honestly say that since before the fires this place has changed so much and all of that is due to the talented actors and crew who worked the haunt prior to this management change. They deserve credit for their work because so much has changed and they’ve worked hard to make the mansion what it is today. I still look forward to being a visitor and fan of the Mansion. I look forward to seeing continued updates and changes because I love this place. But the house is just a house. The actors and the people who put their heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into this place are what makes it - truly amazing experience! Written with love and respect!
Tristan seems like a cool dude. It's nice to see how he's planning to upgrade and improve the attraction without taking away any of the historical significance of what it is at its core. I can't wait to get back to Gatlinburg and check it out. As always, great video!!!

I love all the spooky portraits. It's great that he has a respect for the history of the attraction, while at the same time he's pulling the story together and adding new things that fit that story. Pretty cool.
I was just in Gatlinburg last weekend. Had a great time the new renovations they did on the Ripley's museum is pretty epic. Me and the whole family had a great time

Went again back in 2010 and even 10 years ago it was busted up and run down... Cant imagine the shape it was in these past few years. You can tell he's definantly got passion for this attraction. I'm excited to see how it ends up.

Such a cool video! I like haunted houses *in theory*, but in actuality I'm always disappointed because the point is to scare you and move you through quickly, when what I really want to do is slow down and take in the details/set dressing. Getting to see a place like this is what I really like and it's so cool to see the enthusiasm of those that run the place!
Definitely the best haunted attraction in the area, and one of the most affordable. I've been a dozen or so times through out the different seasons and even on halloween, and the staff really does do their best to give you a killer experience. But of course it's gonna be more staffed during peak season so be sure to check it out then. Can't wait to see the changes in store!
Cool to see this place under new management, and by someone who understands that if the Carpetbagger is invited to check it out and film, it will be more likely to get more visits from folks like me.

This is great! So glad to hear it will get updates! My husband and I got married in the mountains of TN. We stayed at the hotel next door for our anniversary last year! We wanted to check out the Mansion, but it looked closed. We'll have to check it out next time! It's good to hear we can know it's open by seeing the creepy butler waiting on the porch! I went here when I was a kid, at least 20+ years ago. Have walked by it every time I have been back there. Fun place. Still remember it like it was yesterday.
Very nice to finally see the inside of the Mysterious Mansion!! I am super happy to hear that the Haunt is safe and gearing up for a few new revamp/upgrades! I will for sure have to make a trip down to Gatlinburg and visit the Mansion once it gets back up and running!
I cant wait to go to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge this spring. Gonna try to hit house on the rock too. Im getting a procedure in a couple weeks that has over a 70% success rate for chronic pain and PTSD. It's called a stellate ganglion block and if anyone out there is suffering from either chronic pain, PTSD or both and have tried everything, please look into this. If you are a veteran, the VA will pay for it.
I love your videos, especially all the haunt videos. I'm so glad they let you do a behind the scenes with this attraction. Loved it, and love seeing they care so much about this old but goodie attraction. Hopefully i will get back there soon!
Very cool! I entered this haunt in 2005 and remember it well. I especially like the mystery of having to find clues to enter into the mansion at the beginning. Thanks for sharing this, I enjoyed.
I really need to go back here; think my last visit was like 6th or 7th grade, so early to mid 90s. We're in town a couple times each year, so I need to stop making excuses and get in there!
You should get in touch with spookywoods in Archdale, NC to see if you could get a behind the scenes tour when they start preparing for the season later. They're constantly rated as one of the best haunts in the nation and are pretty media friendly.

went there in 2018 with my family, it was just like a real house inside, with all the rooms you would expect to see in a house. The actors are great!
