I’ve been attempting to play the deck with a Nadir and a Striker package, making the deck a power spell going second board breaker deck and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. The striker and nadir engines help you generate a lot of resources while also breaking down a lot of your opponent’s resources and at the same time, not really locking you in a meaningful way for the shining sarc engine. Magicians’ Souls are also very strong in this version since you run so many power spells that it just helps you cycle through duplicate cards while adding bodies for link plays before you extra deck lock yourself with nadir or ties. I only run one ties that bind because I’m going second. It does not really feel great going first, so I only keep the one on the chance I go first, but I feel like utilizing Gandora effectively is what makes this deck strong, so making sure its always online by going second feels best. The main weakness to this deck is ofc droll, but its a very fun way to play this version of the deck.
I highly suggest reconsidering ties that bind as a going first deck. Ending T1 with Sarc, Magician, Swordsman, set Turn Silence plus either set cosmic or set imperm is nasty and shuts down a lot of decks, even against decks with a lot of interaction like Vanquished Soul (using talents to steal madlove and then using it plus magician + sorc + gadget when Gandora is negated to go into Zealantis or Soldier of Chaos on your second turn is very funny)

I one thousand percent agree with the Sarc cards ratio! Just that Ties I would play it at 1. The only recommendation I could give you is about Called by and Crossout, remember that you depend so much on Gadget or Sarc resolving, only one good handtrap and half your deck is worthless.
Honestly, Crossout over droplet in my experience. If I'm in a situation where I'm using droplet I'm already in a place where I do not want to be in this deck. Cyclone and Crossout have been clutch for me in the main deck with puresarc. I also dropped imperm to two so I can run TCBOO.
I like swordsman at 2 as well because I think it’s a bit under the radar that he doesn’t require shining sarcophagus to use his negate unlike magician. Kind of something I found out a bit more recently. Also, turn silence doesn’t require you to have shining sarcophagus out to end the battle phase, only a monster that mentions it
It’s a good shout, just opening it feel ls so awful… I guess it’s not too bad because we don’t have any decent Normal summons outside of Gadget, But I don’t hate the thought process
I’ve gone back and forth with putting two swordsmen myself. Yes it does suck to draw, that being said (from my limited experience playing the deck and also like ties that bind at two), it was nice to have an assurance to either a second swordsman if they broke my board, or even having access to one in the deck because I had the misfortune of drawing my other copy.
I've been testing my own version of this deck list for about a week now, and I have not only found success with it, but I've been having a blast. Thank you so much for this. You're the GOAT who helped me enjoy the game again.
I love the build. I’m trying an Opening package so I’m technically playing 6 copies of Branded Fusion. The only thing that sucks is you get low on hand size, but your board is usually so good I think both of our builds will need to deal with Illusion a bit better. Diabellze is an INCREDIBLE card and turns off so many cards It makes Super Poly and Droplet unplayable. But D Shifter is a decent counter at least
Opening is nice, with a Aluber package, my only issue is that If you don’t see brfu, it’s not the end of the world and I like the idea of 9+ handtraps… but that’s a good suggestion, thanks!
This is the deck that got me BACK into YGO after a 4+ year hiatus. I’ve been testing it and am feeling ready to head to my first locals soon. Dropping a like for the great videos!
Heck yeah dude so glad your making more videos on this deck. The engine I’ve been liking the most rn is Dogmatika. Nadir is both a strong going first and 2nd tool, and the deck doesn’t really mind losing access to the extra deck. It also has neat stuff like Lululawilith being able to special Silent Magician Zero. I’ve also mostly been on 1 Ties that Bind because by the time you get to use the 2nd one you’ll likely have burned through most of your Shining Sarc monsters in deck. Can’t wait to see more content about this deck from you!
I’ve been using small world and left arm offering for more consistency boost for a pure variant. Small world can help search for either gandora or gadget if you draw it with one of the silent monster (can also bait interactions). Left arm offering is more of a last ditch effort to get shining sarcophagus, the restriction doesn’t really matter when going 2nd as gandora can be an otk enabler.
Ideally, if you're wanting to use these cards in a meta capacity, it needs to be slotted into a more competitive deck as a package. This is what i've been doing with Gold Pride PUNK, and if more people were on this, we'd be able to nail down a better fit for it (given that Gold Pride has its own shortcomings). I mean, hypothetically any deck could have easy access to a searchable Crossout using these cards.
I recommend testing the Horus/King's Sarc. engine. Gets a lot of field presence and resources without having to get locked out of your extra deck from Ties that Bind. Along with more drawing power. With them you can run a lot of strong rank 8s like Number 38 for more negates. From my own personal testing they help a lot of the short comings/weaknesses Shinning Sarc. has by itself and can lead to some scary turn 1 boards. Also when the rest of the support comes out like Ebon(dont need to run vanilla DM anymore) and the retrain Summon Skull it gives the archetype a lot more interesting options. This archetype has a lot of hidden strength(with cards like Turn Silence) and potential depending on what you mix in with it but many were so quick to move on without even trying.
Ive been playing with a melodious engine, but ive seen nadir/striker/branded engines but im liking melodious the most, for melodious im on 3 ostinato 3 refrain 2 couplet and 1 concerto, since you do not need the extra deck I am running the vortex masq apo, I really like the interaction that allows you to pend out the magician and swordsman, on my channel ive put a list out if you were interested in seeing the ratios and the full decklist I am running.

I feel like after Infinite Forbidden releases with Dark Magician Ebon Sorcerer and Archfiend Arrivlal, they might make a new Support Like a new Dark Magician Girl retrain. I'd like to think She'd summon herself out if Shining Sarc is on the field and by shuffling up to 3 cards that mention shining sarc from GY to Deck, she'd be able to special summon out 1 lvl 7 or lower spellcaster monster from the deck directly (Either DM Ebon Sorcerer or Silent Magician Zero).
I'm hoping the final wave of support for this deck retrains the magnet warriors. I think it would be a cool way to go full circle on the OG Yugi deck. Also, I cannot wait for the Mirror Force retrain for this archetype. Getting to activate mirror force on card effects is nasty

I like your main deck ratios for the shining sarc cards, pretty much the ratios i go with but instead of having 2 ties that bind i run 1 and i play gandora at 3 instead. Opening gandora rarely ever feels bad, at worse its an an extender to use for link or extra deck fodder, at best you dont have to search it from future silence or shining sarc and can search turn silence from shining sarc to guarantee that gandoras on field effects resolve.
I like alot of the ideas here! Ive now tried runick and Melodious, and may have to try this. I'm gonna be posting my Kashtira package I've been trying next, Sarc cards are just so cool

My main difference for the branded engine is I swapped a few of the extra deck monsters *specifically* for my locals - The branded fusions, yubel, predaplant, dragoon, crimson, princess, S:P, and joe biden dragon are there, but I have I:P, Berfomet, Zealatnis/Black Luster Solider instead. Both Zealantis and Black Luster soldier have saved my ass in weird pendulum matchups. Might even swap the Berf and Zealantis/Black Luster Soldier for Underworld Goddess, ExPurrley, or Psychic End Punisher (all three of those get thrown a lot locally and two of my local players who got WCQ invites use all three often). I have been having a lot of success running pure Sarc but once I get a few more cards in I'm going to lab the Branded version more. I don't know if Branded is much stronger than pure but I have not had the luxury of going against Snake Eyes with either yet. I will say pure sarc *bodies* tenpai. Just absolutely shuts off the deck.
do you think that triple tactics thrust at 2 could justify dropping ties that bind and triple talent to 1 like one of your previous DM branded deck profiles? since you could use that card to possibly search for both talent or ties that bind among other cards at key game states. Obviously there is the risk that you do have to set them if your opponent controls no monsters though.

How does the branded package play under shifter and provide a meaningful benefit to the deck? I know it facilitates a longer grind game and gives us a good amount of resources, but how exactly does it do that as well as playing under shifter?
No such thing as stupid questions :) don’t worry. Branded fusion sends materials form deck, and if Dimension shifter is live, those materials will be banished. The reason why Fusion works under shifter, is if shifter is live, you’re typically going to be sending Fallen of Albaz and a dark monster (in this list specifically, im prob sending dark magician) to make lubellion. Lubellion effect allows you to fusion summon by shuffling your Materials back into the deck from anywhere (including banished). So. If you’re under shifter, you activate BRFU, send FOA and DM (banish) summon lubellion, lubellion effect, shuffle back DM and FOA from banished to make Dragoon. You have a dragoon that’s live and your opponent is under shifter which is very strong. And if you’re not under shifter, you’re porb going into mirror jade lines, and things like that. Hope that helps
Deck needs more starters cmon konami...you would hope silent magician or swordsman would add a card on summon but nah....Nothing works without the sarc. One ash kills this deck, literally
Thats when I started with my first list i played 3 crossout. Every handtrap and horus engine to make a photonlord before I summon Gadget or mill gadget with zombievampore if I have no starter. Crossoutout oberperformed but I bricked on all the handtraps and even addded small word as a starter with 1 garnet. Now I play pure and for some reason never bricked again. Crossout is strong but I feel like the handtraps when used just werent effective anymore. So now I just run Shifter sh and imperm and 3 superpoly in main as non engine 2x dimensional fissure because it hurts a lot of decks
I tired every engine and I found out its best played pure. No engines. Just superpoly and shifter in main is enough. 3ash 3imperm. You good. 2 of bind 2 of every name 3gadget 1marshmallow just in case
