The hand with throne + Kepler + swirl slime has a much better line that can play through Ash + Imperm + Nib at the same time. Your current line dies to Ash on Kepler and Imperm on Kepler / small Genghis. Opponent will use interrupts earlier as you’ve already telegraphed Rage usage.
Throne grab Rage. Swirl slime + Rage into High Genghis. At this point, High Genghis is making your Imperm proof. Normal Kepler and CL1 Kepler search Gate, CL2 High Genghis revive Rage. This lets you chain block Ash on Kepler. Sacrifice Kepler to Rage to turn off hand traps. Now activate Gate for Copernicus. Banish Swirl Slime to special Copernicus, foolish Necro Slime. Rage + Copernicus into Gilgamesh, set Gryphon + Thomas. Pend summon Copernicus. Gryphon pop itself and grab it with Thomas. Gryphon special itself to make Caesar. Combo normally from there.
The endboard is still Machinex + High Caesar + Headhunt but you get an extra High Genghis and keep your Gate for 2 more Machinex activations. You also don’t die to Ash and are never at risk even if opponent has both Imperm + Nib.

@@Dayoni_Gaming This plays into Bystials or Veiler/Mourner but still it's the ideal play before siding and I would argue the best line for that combo. Rage had so much potential and now we can finally use it.

You could check the old flowcharts. They are still viable except for some new combos and some that are obsolete. The rest works by knowing what you can do to extend with what you have in hand

I've been testing it ever since the new yubel support was announced. I have a couple of combos in a video I posted a while back that go over the same thing. We still have 1 major problem though. The endboard is too beatable

What do you usually make it with?
@@phantomsygo I usually use any of the lvl 4 bodies + small genghis. It'll become better once we get the fiendsmith level 6 in the TCG
@@user-oy5sx9dz9r "1+ non-tuner Light/Dark monsters" so Genghis can't be used.
You would need Swirl + Siegfried/Ragnarok for 2 bodies or a mix of 1+1+8 or 1 + 1 + 4 + 4 that seems like a big waste. D'arc + a lvl3 handtrap works though.

I can definitely see the logic in using map, but with Tenpai around, halving your life is scary 🤣
I mean if they are going to OTK you anyways, 4k lifepoints isn't going to matter when Tenpai can easily push 9k+ (making starting off at 8k lifepoints a non factor).
Throne is better than Map but the latter is cheaper to run. I find the restriction to have NS your search target to get its effect to be an issue (makes it linear and obvious where they can interruption you).
You should try adding triple tactics talent incase if your opponent hand trap you.

Low key underworld goddess is pretty cool. You can get enough cards out to make her
bright armaggedon skipped again understandably , but someday when we get a liquid slime the synchro variant will rise again
If Branded can survive 3 years of Puppet locking, I want an easy way to drop Requiem to my opponent's board as well. Locking Bystials, stopping Imperm/Evenly, and more Importantly this turns on Bright Arma's secret and OVERPOWERED effect.

8:10 I disagree about not including imperm since your reasoning implies you went full combo and you didn't get interrupted which is very rare in current yugioh. Even in that scenario you probably win regardless without needing imperm to be live and the only thing breaking your board will be something like evenly matched which imperm does nothing against.
Your call on the nonengine
Its unfortunate the Rage combos still get bopped by imperm when they're 3 card combos.
You can use Vaylantz spells to beat imperm but lose to veiler and you can use Rage to beat veiler and nib but lose to imperm. And there are other 3 card combos that make high caesar early to beat nib also, but it definitely feels like gambling so much of the time
Why does rage lose to imperm? Unless youre going second and imperm is set
@@phantomsygo Imperm doesn't activate in the hand, it activates in the spell trap zone because it is a trap card. Think of it, for example, like activating a Monster Reborn from your hand, you wouldn't consider it activating in the hand, just from it
I’ve had this interaction explained to me but I’m still not convinced that it works this way. Would need to test this on MD to see if Rage 3rd effect really stops Imperm.
If the ruling does indeed allow Imperm to bypass Rage’s 3rd effect, there’s still the option to use Rage’s 2nd effect instead; it specifies spells and traps.
@@Dayoni_Gaming I've played the deck in MD as well, this is the way it works, but you don't even need to test it if you consider the way spells and traps work. For example, would you be able to play Infinite Impermanence if your spell trap zones were blocked by Kashtira Shang? Of course not, because it activates on the field, not in hand

I would rather eat my entire D/D collection than play Reis Map ever again. As soon as I got my Thrones I burned those copies exactly how they burned me all those times.
Personally Im a fan of 1 Squirmer in the deck, as well as Yama/Rage/SP in the place of Zeus/D'arc. If your hand allows an early Yama you can pop Gilgamesh and protect the effect from Imperm/Veiler (since gamma isn't played) and if you don't need to Orthros can still trigger Yama in gy for a revive. The revive from Squirmer is also very welcome, from giving you a free Coper for Caesar/Siegfried to unbricking a Kepler or giving you Rage. They provide the materials for the tribute as well.

I think the deck contains too many cards. Im still just playing small world cuz i think u already got enough starters. The problem has always been that sometimes a single handtrap ends your turn. A 3card combo that makes u handtrap-proof isnt a very good combo anymore. Small world just searches any card in your deck. And S:P literally makes no sense. Bright armageddon is much better. Running 2 orthros for nothing doesnt seem that good to me. (Sry if i sound offending. Im not a native speaker. Great video anyways)
