i remember when i was sealing in vancover canada, then i go to shore leave go to wallmart ang bestbuy. coz i want to buy some electronics , sabi ng canadian na salesman are you a filipino ? i say yes! then he calls his co worker and this guy can assist u. nagulat ako kc indiano pero ang galing magtagalog. kaya pala sya magaling magtagalog ksi sa manila sya ipinangak then he studed in canada and work.

her accent is so Cebuano. She said her friend lives in Aurelio. My sister & I used to live at Aurelio Apartments while I was going to San Carlos University, & my sister went to Southwestern Univ. Medical School many many years ago.

Most Filipinos don't know the difference between a language and a dialect. A dialect is just a variety of the language. For example, the standard Cebuano (Bisaya) language is thought to be the one spoken from Carcar southward. Other variety of Cebuanos spoken elsewhere, including that in Metro Cebu area, Siquijor, Bohol, Leyte, Mindanao regions (Davao region, Northern Mindanao, CARAGA Region, Western Mindanao, etc. are all dialects of Cebuano language.

as i was born Indian people were here already and many of them lives for study, others have business, they were called BOMBAy for they used lending money who are in need, they allowed them to borrow money with interest, by that it's a big help...

so much easier if a foreigner learn the proper local language , once staying in a foreign land. start with daily greetings ...instead of d English hello , magandang Umaga with smile to people in the morning in the Philippines.... In Japan , Konnichiwa instead of hello ☺️ Express our good manners to people , The first thing to do , to communicate with the locals . & They'll treat u more like locals & comfortably talk with u. about anything . Pinay in Japan here, for almost 40 yrs ☺️
There are caucasians of European, American, Canadian, Australian, UK blood ties who speak Bisaya, too. Some of them are vloggers. Filipinos are open to marrying foreigners because the children that come out are more good looking than either of their parents. lol. It's like Halo-halo that tastes good. It's like a Filipino's way of contributing to the advancement of the human race to the next level of beauty and handsomeness, of awesomeness. Lol.
There are a lot of Indians doing business in the Philippines particularly in lending of small loans to small businesses. They know our culture and thrive in it. They just go back to India to rest and then return for business. Some of them inter-marry and have cute kids who grow up as Filipinos. Well, this Indian girl was born of Indian parents but we consider her as one of us, even her parents, because she grew up here. They can pick up our language easier because it's easier I think than the Indian language.
Down in Mindanao, there are a lot of Filipinos who can speak Arabic because they are Muslims and learned it through reading of their own holy book, the Quran or Koran, just like the Indonesians, Malaysians and other Muslim southeast asians. Filipinos are multi-lingual, polyglots, because of our circumstances.
There is no such thing as pure Filipinos. We have different bloodlines or origins. Philippines is where East meets West. As we get to appreciate other cultures like you guys coming from other countries and staying here for a while -- we don't have to go to each individual country to learn about you guys because you are already here -- maybe we can contribute to the world on how to have world peace where everybody respect each other's differences and similarities like in religion.

As a Bisaya I can tell that she's a hardcore-bisaya
So she can be a Fipilino citizen if she choose too because she was born here. She is an intellegent girl, and the way she talk is no one can say that she is not a Filipino.
