Hi
Third
Hello dhar
Hi
As a black woman with hair like this, I feel her pain. I got told by one of my coworkers that I looked like I stuck my hair in an electrical socket. There's nothing wrong with black women wearing their natural hair. I never understood why it seems to be an issue in today's society. I use to feel like this about my hair, but not anymore. I love my afro now. What sucks is this really does happen to black women when they wear their natural hair.
Umm... because it isn't attractive? That's a good one though, it "looked like I stuck my hair in an electrical socket."
@@rheinamacher1990 having natural hair is attractive in some people's eyes. I get a lot of compliments about my afro now, especially from other nationalities who like to play with it because it's so big. You've a right to believe afros aren't attractive. Maybe to you they're not, but I know lots of people who'd disagree with you about that. I love my fro!
Do not take care of them, you are beautiful, they are jealous of your beauty 👩🏽🎀
@@rheinamacher1990 your hair isn’t attractive it looks like dog fur
@@rheinamacher1990that’s rude to say…. You can give constructive criticism without being an a…hole smh
"We are all beautiful, just the way God mad us, no matter what someone else says", is the best saying ever😊
Half of my childhood I was shamed for having “big puffy hair” or “messy bush” and I always felt insecure until I saw other older girls with the same hair as me looking so happy with it and I finally started looking after my hair with help from my mum and UA-cam and it’s made me a happier person knowing that I can feel good in my own hair (I have 4c hair btw)
I can relate I have poofy hair but I never thought of it bad, I realized that I like to be different and black people can have any type of hair now that u think about it, straight, curly, puffy, wavy literally anything you name it! That makes us so special
To be completely honest, I'm completely ok with hair like that, I don't mind as long as the person likes it then it's ok
So nice
Really nice i dont know what to say such a good job on not letting people get to you so good job bye now hope you have a awsome life out there and that you are so beutiful no matter who you are you can have big puffy here or not what ever makes you happy and it people make fun of you anymore say to then hey thats not a nice thing to say i can have my hair my clothing my shoes how ever i want no matter what if you like it or not bye
You are brave. I just made a video on how to handle this sort of case.
"Shaming girl for her hair inside school" - this was half my childhood experience as well as my high school experience and 1st work experience.
My hair is wavy and frizzy and it wasn't deemed appropriate as a look to wear when facing customers. I was literally asked to "do something about it" by a woman who herself had an afro look (although white).
My hair however is natural and due to my heritage. Therefore it doesn't look perfect.
I'm currently unemployed and looking for work but free from discrimination.
I bet your hair looks amazing! How can hair not be appropriate?? There are ppl who dont wash themselves or their hair -.- Be proud and slay ❤️
Ps you’ll find a job without backward stupid ppl 🙏🏼
I'm sure your hair is beautiful in its natural state. Do what makes you happy with your hair, but whatever you do with your hair, always let your authentic self shine through, never apologize for being the real you. Each one of us came to the world for a unique purpose, so you don't owe anyone an apology for being yourself!
I bet you have a lot to offer, and maybe the reason that those doors had to close was to lead you to a place where they deserve and appreciate you. You'll find a job that really deserves you.
At my school that would never happen my principal IS white but it’s not always whites people that are racist she’s actually really sweet and she doesn’t tolerate racism AT ALL. Black people can be racist to so when my two classmates called each other the word, she called them into her office and made them apologize to each other even though they were both black, they both offended and told on each other
I love what she said “we are beautiful just the way God made us” ❤

As a girl around her age and as someone with thicker hair I needed to hear this because working with thick hair especially hair period can be hard and sometimes you don’t feel beautiful
This reminds me of the book and short film “Hair Love” about a father doing his daughter’s hair this is a heartwarming story ❤❤❤

Beauty is about loving yourself, not from anyone else’s opinion.

This is better than the second comment W
When I was young, girls were praised for their looks and the neatness of their schoolwork. Boys were told that they were strong and smart. The message to the girls was harmful. It is like they had no substance of character to be proud of. It is wrong to judge on appearance over character. Wise people have written about that over the centuries.
my best friend's hair is so curly and fluffy and she is the most popular girl in our class if not the entire school, her hair is part of her personality and is 1 of the things that makes her unique out of 1 million others. she gets complimented everyday and she is really proud about not only her hair but everything about herself, and she should be. she deserves everything because I can really open up to her and she gives THE best advice and always encourages me and tells me to have confidence since, I am in my depressed era ever since I can remember but she is a part of my life now and she is family to me, I'm grateful god sent her to me.
what does she look like. i wanna be like her no cap
@finding.bliss_ she is gorgeousssssssss. If you saw her you would fall for her 😭😭
People at my school wouldn’t judge her they would she would be cool because her hair isn’t like anyone else’s.

Never jugde someone or even never bully someone because karma will catch you
This is so relatable. I have curly hair that I used to straighten and damage every single day because kids at school would call it poofy, bushy, and a whole lot more. No one in my family has curly hair except me so I basically had to teach myself. My parents kept telling me your beautiful just the way god created you. Now I get complimented about my hair almost every day. It amazing going from getting bullied because of it to getting loved because of it. Love yourself the way God created you and people will start loving you aswel.

I can definitely relate. Ever since I was a kid I've always had really thick hair that looks pretty similar to the girl in the video. I used to get picked on by girls at school that told me "do you ever even wash your hair?" It got to the point where I decided to get it cut, but it grew back just has thick. But then I realized the amount of people that actually really liked my hair and I realized it looked unique and now I wouldn't ever change it even if I had the chance to.
