Ha, I've come to your video because I'm researching the opposite. I have an ebike and an e-scooter. I can't say I would sell them off and get a Navi but I am thinking about it.
I live in Albuquerque and my purchases haven't been as practical as I would have liked. I have to ride in debris ridden bicycle gutters for longer distances than I realized. Then having the gutters alongside 40mph roads ain't all that enticing. There are bike paths but they are not useful paths as they were made for recreation rather than commuting. Coming back to the gutters, that debris has given me a couple of flats.
Cities like Albuquerque are getting better but we're still decades out from a safe biking environment. But even with a safe environment, we still have to address how unnecessarily spread out the city planning is. It takes a long time to get somewhere on an ebike averaging at 17mph.
Then there's the range anxiety as you discuss in your video. For some of my weekend activities, I have to go across the city. My escooter can't make the distance and while my ebike can make it (barely), the ride time is not practical. There are still gas stations aplenty here and gas here costs way less than your area.
Lastly, because writing this out sucks on mobile and I just got to the point on your video, theft is a major problem. There are very few places to securely lock up a bike. And many of the places that do provide parking have such fragile bike racks that the thief can more easily cut the rack rather than a lock. So, the places I can visit, without massive paranoia that my ride will be stolen, are so few. And that has me still using the car which defeats the purpose of my small electric vehicles. I can't say that the Navi wouldn't be stolen but it seems at least less of a target.

I feel you. If I lived in a more spread out city, I would honestly just get a motorcycle/motor scooter for getting around especially for commuting. In your situation I would only ride an e-bike for recreational use. I have too much range anxiety! There might be other options you can consider, like electric motorcycles or super powerful electric scooters like dualtron. Researching and buying what you want/need is fun for me!

In my opinion since you have an M1. Invest in an electric maxi scooter. Niu makes a good design they sale 40mph and a 50mph. Heck even a 65mph if you got the money.
If money is an issue Voromotor Roadrunner V2 $1.5K dual motor with 40miles range its a sit down scooter 30mph.
Depends on the state. You can register it if you have the origin paper and a Vin. Keep in mind you need mirrors and turn signals reflectors any thing the DMV wants. Even then you need a motorcycle license as sur rons do 45+.
Laws have caught up to electric seat down scooters as well. As they also can go 50mph+ with no restrictions. Now it's limited to 25mph in a lot of states.
EUC is in a weird class and they now can go 45+ mph.

Not sure which way I’ll go, but still driving the Navi for now. I was pretty much thinking about e-bikes for fitness. Make my fat ass have to pedal to get to work on time. Later down the line I’m thinking I’ll get a maxi scooter or auto motorcycle. Don’t want to shift anymore lol

@@thermodynamics1110 roadrunner v2 isn't a maxi scooter. A maxi scooter are huge scooter with 300cc motor. The one I have is a 125cc equivalent doing 55mph and is highway legal. Has motorcycle plates and has all safety equipment.
