    Great video. Glad you were very candid about the problems with the bike while it was still clear you love the little thing and provided good recommendations for modifications. Much more confidant in my decision to get a navi, thanks.

    I love mine. What's shocking is that, while it doesn't blow you away for top speed, it's a brilliant city bike. It's surprisingly tourquey from 0-35. So darting around and through city traffic is stupid fun. You don't feel overpowered at all. It's funny that my Navi is the only one on the road anywhere near where I live. It's all big cruisers or overturned sport bikes. I thought for sure I'd get made fun of riding it around. It's the total opposite. Everyone loves the little thing. I get compliments and questions everywhere I go.

      All the bikes around us question us constantly. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! WHERE THE HELL IS THE SHIFTER! ive had a guy riding a big Indian take it for a ride and he loved it lol. its nice just to get on and GO sometimes.

    what jets did you start out with, and what did you end up running in the navi? did you have to go leaner or richer? im building a similar build and would like a baseline

    • @23killquick
      @23killquick  2 місяці тому +1

      @@midge753 I stared with the one that came in the nibbi carb. I ended up with like a 100? Or 105 with a 32 slow jet
      Jet kit a.co/d/67dB2hi
      Carb 17mm a.co/d/gD1Tg9P
      I'd say maybe keep the stock rollers and see what the speed is, then upgrade after that. Buy a FULL roller kit and not just a set of say 11g rollers. I've heard the 12g rollers work well but I went with the lightest one I could find for a GY6. Also the 1000 rpm springs do not help top speed at all!

  • @flyinphil42
    @flyinphil42 2 місяці тому +1

    Does it cruise faster with the nibbi carburetor? Mine stock does 52 mph top speed. I was thinking of changing to sliders in the variator to get better performance. I was also thinking about the Gy6 exhaust but I don’t know where to get a good budget carburetor and pod air filter . Any suggestions?

    • @23killquick
      @23killquick  2 місяці тому +1

      @@flyinphil42 nibbi and Mikuni are probably the best carbs around for the price. Go with 12g rollers with a clutch / variatior kit from s23. With a new carb you have to see what jet style they are using and buy a jet kit. You will need to upgrade the jet from what comes with the carb. More air and more fuel = more power so yes it's faster but! It's a single cylinder engine so you only can get so much from the little guy. We have a guy locally with a Grom pushing 71hp running a NOS bottle but it's only a drag bike. I went with super light rollers so I lost top speed. If I went back to stock I might get more speed but I'm not sure.

    • @flyinphil42
      @flyinphil42 2 місяці тому

      @@23killquick you should try the Dr pulley sliders, I hear they outperform rollers. So with all your upgrades what is your speed gain compared to stock ?

      Feels more like a bike. I'd say on par with a dirt bike. It's very upright but you can use the rear pegs and get a little more bent at your legs. On long rides I like the rear pegs more so than the main. If you are doing a 5 or 10 mile commute to work it's amazing!
