The first time I heard Oleta was in the early 90’s. Life with a huge orchestra. She sang don’t let the sun go down on me. I was so impressed!
I don’t know why, but I cried my eyes out with the song that Oleta and Edsilia did together. So beautiful.

Oletta and Edsilia are friends and Oletta stays always at Edsilia&Tjeerd's family house when she is in Amsterdam. Such a lovely person and great Artist!

Wow wow wow...Here I am can't sleep, see the Ladies of soul....and Man ..this is just one of the most beautiful artists Oleta Adams...wow wow...how is it possible? Now I defenitly can't sleep. I wonder if she likes Holland-the Netherlands ? She starts off by saying in dutch"he lekker ding" =he cuty pie ..What a superb surprise, I think she had her first international sucses here in the Netherlands...and since then allways came over. What a show, she must have enjoyd thoroughly...smiling having fun, and the audience sang along, that took her by surprise...Again what a lovely woman...what a voice, so of her own, and to top it off play piano so well..GREAT!!!

What a great performace by all the tree ladies. Oleta Adams is besides a great inspirator also a idol for Edsilia and they are also good friends. The man in black with the hat, next to Alvin the guitar player is Keith John. Keith is a colleague singer and friend of Whitney Houston, he sings as background for Steve Wonder. The father of Keith is the famous singer Little Willie John.
She also performed on a free Jazz festival in Haarlem. On the small stage in a little square. All the streets leading to the square were packed. I couldn't see her at ladies of Soul but that made but up quite well. What a wonderful lady. Also if I remember correctly ms Rombley performed as Oleta Adams at a pretend to be a star show a long time ago and her voice is very similar
You’re so right about when an artist has a connection with their emotions. I saw Oleta Adams years ago in concert in Theater Carré in Amsterdam. She’s so down to earth and connected to her fans. Such a beautiful soul. Thanks for your reaction ❤️

Oletta Adams was suppose to be in the Netherlands in March this year. I already had tickets to her concert but do to COVID it was canceled. So this was BEAUTIFUL. And now I hope she can come over here🤞🏼 soon.🍀
I grew up mostly listening to opera because I have a dad who was a professional opera singer. So the concerts I went to where always classic and Opera. The first year I lived on my own I went to concert that was not Opera......No it was Oletta Adams. Somewhere in the 90’s. This brings so many memories. Thanks Patrice and Mr. H🥰

I was so happy to have been there. I love Edsilia Rombley her voice. That started in 1996 with her doing Oleta Adams. And at the end of the concert all the artists did a song from George Michael (and Elton John). George just past away that last christmas. I cried woensdag i heard the first notes....
