I know you’re not experienced commuters, but for the future, whenever you find yourself in a cramped space (subway, bus, elevator, etc) take off your backpacks and hold them in your hands, by your feet. They take up MUCH less space that way and you won’t hit anyone in the face while turning.

Hi you two! I’m from Birmingham England. I have finally caught up with every video of your blogs! I found you guys looking at Americans driving/shopping in the U.K! I love seeing American’s perspective of the U.K. in your eyes. I initially watched your videos of Birmingham England, you guys trying balti & curries! Your videography made my city look better than it is! I have been to LA, San Fran, San Diego, Miami, Orlando, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, so I very much enjoyed your videos & relate to them! I love your vlogs, amusing, natural & fascinating! I particularly love that you are both so down to earth, not fussy in Asia which has a world of difference to Western standards & were willing to try all the Asian street food from some ramshackle to a restaurant. You have great friends too! Nikita is super-cool! You are doing something a fair few of us do not have the balls to do. Jack everything in, leave the rat race & just travel! Keep up the good work & I can’t wait to see where life leads you next. All the best. Liem. PS you guys have to stop losing things lol. PPS Love the haircut, short hair suits you better Eric!

I don't think I could do the subway in NYC at rush hour, let alone those *JAM PACKED* Tokyo trains! I've seen videos before of people whose job is to cram even more people into those trains. Sometimes the doors won't shut and these guys have to shove people in past the sensors so that the doors will close. It's crazy! C'mon, Tokyo! Add a couple of extra cars onto those trains so people can breathe!

I feel for ya Eric. I've had a wisdom tooth coming through for years, it's pretty sharp and I keep biting the inside of my mouth with it in the same spot. Kills. I've learned to chew more carefully but it still happens. When the tissue swells it makes it almost impossible to avoid biting over and over. I'm too scared to have the tooth removed, haha. 🤐

I forgot you two briefly met up with Josh and Ashley in Tokyo. I've been watching their Japan vlogs, It's interesting to see the country from two perspectives. I thought the London Underground trains were crowded, they're empty compared to the Japanese ones. I sympathise with Eric, I also accidently bite my lip when I'm eating, it sucks :(

For the Bite, in my household we use some kind of spray with a tube, to spray on the mouth(Bitten area), it usually heal the swelling within an hour or so.
    Think 7-Eleven sell medicine too.
Edit: The thing it spray look like pepper powder, but taste like medicinal herbs.

Check out the instant ramen aisle at 7/11. They have collaborated with many famous ramen shops in Japan, even the 2 Michelin star places, Tsuta and Nakiryu. Although Tsuta is my favorite ramen place in the world, the instant just doesn't seem to translate all that well since it's a lighter, super complex soup base. Nakiryu's instant ramen is a home run though. Can't get enough of it.

I used google map when I was in Japan so I didn’t need to ask locals on directions and most Japanese don’t speak English. And the croissant did not look inviting. Hopefully you get better food in Kyoto. The Japan high speed rail system offers 5-day, 7-day and 14-day passes which also enable you on some of the inner-city subs and buses. All JR Stations (Japan Rail) are a complex cities offering all things you need.
