- Simple practical using aseptic techniques to investigate the sensitivity of E.coli to different antibiotics. Can also be carried out using filter paper discs (cut with a hole punch) soaked in different antiseptic solutions if antibiotic test discs are not available.

How come you used molten agar, we used standard agar jelly last year.
There are a few different ways of doing this practical. I find the molten agar method works best. The agar may also have been prepared for you in advance to save time.

How to collection antibiotic from bacteria
You have to buy the antibiotic discs or use tiny discs of filter paper soaked in different antiseptics instead.
