I'm honestly surprised they still have circa-2003 feature phone parts to stuff into 2023-era phones (i.e. I'm shocked they even make camera sensors that top out at QVGA anymore). I'd have to imagine that more modern parts (like even a 2MP camera sensor) would only cost a couple cents; stuffing old hardware in new devices can't actually be all that much cheaper.
@@RealEpikCartfrenYT The size is key. Having an absolutely tiny sensor can be beneficial in some uses, like when you need to photograph something but you cant stick a big camera there. And sensor with this resolution could be tiny. Alternatively, sometimes you just dont need resolution. Legit thought it was the real deal and thinking how they created bendable glass
Wonder if this is the Z flip Sarah Grace bought
ooh boy this going to get intresting 😂 knock off bending phone 🤗
1:10 I'm pretty sure saying that knockoffs with foldable screens will never happen is incorrect. Just like with many other types of tech, it starts expensive and then gets much, much cheaper. This will be the case with foldable screens as well, and then there will be actual foldable bootlegs.
It's just more so that the manufacturers of these clones aren't using "new" hardware in them. Like we only just got to see a WELCOME with 4G. I get what you mean though but I highly doubt we will get to that point. I mean folding displays have been a mainstream thing for 4 years now and they are still super expensive but, guess we keep waiting :)
@@SMOOREZ Well, eventually foldable screens won't be "new" tech anymore, and there will be knockoffs with them as they become cheaper. It will take a while, but it will happen at one point. I do hope you will still be making videos by then, so we get to see your review of the actual foldable Welcome phones :P
@TheNightquaker 4 years later.... still expensive lol.
@@johnl3230 Yeah, but they're getting cheaper gradually. Non-flexible OLEDs are already pretty cheap and can be found in 200-dollar phones, and the same thing will apply to flexible OLEDs at one point as well.
6:09 MPEG 4 is a century old
0:24 Bronislav Minderis if you're interested how to pronounce his name
also 2:43 Mafam, "Ferari Mobile" from one of the previous videos was from them too
2G doesn't work in many countries? I mean in Finland they decided to take down 3G network instead of 2G. They need one of them because a lot of devices still use SMS for their operation and it's cheaper to maintain 2G network.
same thing here
would be extremely funny to see someone with a 3310 being used seriously
also if i grow up i definitely wanna get a burner SIM and just somehow use internet features on those janky phones

My parents used 2G for everyday internet at their summerhouse for a time. I mean they could read news and see what's on TV.
Funny how much things have changed: Little over 30 years ago my parents bought their first mobile phone. They had to climb to this large rock in order to get service. Now days they have perfect 4G/LTE connection and they can watch streaming services at 4K no problem at their summerhouse.
This makes me wonder why did Samsung name their folding phone Flip? Flip phone has meant something else for a long time so technically this cheapo phone fits what a flip phone is more than the Z Flip.😅
i think cause the way you open it, flips upwards.
Because it Folds in a Flip Phone-like style, hence the "Flip" name
Samsung have a lineup of Android flip phones a few years back called Folder
Bro aint getting anywhere 🔥🗣💯
@@manwell235before the era of Android and smartphone, Samsung also had several models of flip phone (I forgot all the names, but they do exist)
that small camera with a small screen takes better pictures than this one😅😅
His name is Branislav Minderis 0:26
I mean... the video recording of flijo 4 is really good quality like you recording things during world war era. The phone just late a few centuries
Does it have 4g? - if not, it will be unusuable here in Sweden after next year, they will shut down 2g and 3g then, i might buy one otherwise, there is an used one on the swedish eqv.of Ebay, greets Levi (why didnt the Opera browser work...?)
