tbf 205 hp isn't a lot to have fun with. I'd imagine that you can have more fun with a 5th gen mustang or 4th gen Camaro or 350z etc. This is relevant because all of them are around the same price used.

@@joeyn177 well, how about a car in very poor conditions of 2005 4cil with 140 hp stock, literally i press the throttle full and the car just dont move because the engine its going to day some day hahaha so yes i cant drift (some times, like 1 a month i drive a Ford f150 v8 that can drift, obviusly not that much, but it feels AMAZING lol (i do it on dirty roads so its not the same)

For complete starters - there's virtually nothing for them to takeaway from this video at all. There's a reason why a lot of drifting tutorials are long, and always start with 'dumbed down' fundamentals of drifting
unless you need to go faster, you should be staying the same gear, even if the revs are limitting the rev limiter. you also hold down the gas for as long as you want to drift.

Is it pedal dance mode (crazy sequence of things with e brake and some brakes secret-func)? Or just hold trc button for some time? Vsc? They are a bit confusing and new to me.
If you have pre 2017 facelift models, use pedal dance for traction & stability control to be fully off. In the later models, hold down the track button for ~5 seconds, I don't think there is a pedal dance for those models
At around 0:28 it looks like the wheel naturally spins left. Do you have to add any input or does the car typically snap the front tires leftward when you initiate the drift? And does anyone have a personal sweet spot in terms of revs + gear for dry and wet roads on any car? Thanks!
If your alignment is good, the car should counter-steer itself like that, but of course you need to control it to make sure it doesn't steer itself too much and snap back in the other direction. I would recommend, if possible, to try first on snow, in a safe open area. Or, going to a place where they can teach you if you can. The revs and gear will depend on alot of things, but if you are just starting out, 2nd gear is probably the one you want to be in.
Yea basically what Leon said, your car will always want to steer wherever has the least resistance, if you are sliding sideways the wheels will want to turn into the slide.
This is what happens at the point where you initiate the slide because there is more power being added to the rear wheels so it will want to slide left
I am now a drift legend, time to buy my first car.
