I agree with SOME of the undermentioned comments. Barry's orchestration for this film is superb and the music is totally appropriate. Well done for editing - sorry people can't be bothered to read your comments!
if you look he was not suppose to spill a drop of water but if you look carefully when he fell on the rope bridge holding his hand over the glass of water two drop of water did spill if you look carefully
It think that's probably why the changed it , I think John Barry's score was just too grand for a comedic fantasy film . Now if this movie had been done more or less straight then Barry's score would have certainly fit .
@@Shadowman820 It doesn’t matter what you think, because “grand” and “comedic fantasy” are not mutually exclusive. Just because a movie doesn’t play itself completely straight doesn’t mean that the music has to follow suit. It's not even like there aren't any grand moments in the movie, and Barry's score gives it a more mystical, romantic feel.

Movie would have been so much more awesome with John Barry's score.
if the score was edited into the dialogue properly it would be even better.
John Barry's score should have been used in this film. Whomever dismissed his score knows nothing about film music
For this scene, the score is overwhelming. It ruins the tension.

the only part of this that was really goof was when eddie got the dagger...
I’m havin this Mandela effect, I thought he kept the water inside his mouth while he mad dash to the dagger, and spit them back out into the glass.
Naw man, he kept the glass the whole time. And that wouldn't have allowed Eddie to talk, you just can't have that lol.

Why add in the music?
To give an idea of what the scene would be like if this score had been used.
The fake music is so annoying! We expect to hear the original sound of the movie!
Did you even read the title???
Took out the original score and removed the actors ‘ voices. Turned sugar into shit.
No, he didn’t. You just didn’t read the title. The whole point of the video is to demonstrate what the scene would be like with the rejected score.
This doesn't match the tone of the scene.
Yes, it does. John Barry chose to focus on the underlying danger without playing it for laughs. That’s what Eddie Murphy’s for.
