Dating back to their days with NFL products, Topps Chrome has been possibly my favorite product ever. They always look amazing, while still giving some of the classic feel that so many products today lack. These continue the trend IMO. That Yamamoto is pure fire!
Its crazy to me the difference between basketball & football, and baseball. You pull a /25 of a good rookie (Pete Crow-Armstrong) and the comp is $16. But if you pull a /25 in basketball or football of a good rookie, it's hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars.

I got a retail blaster box at dicks, lucky I didn’t choose the box because the one the guy picked had 32 cards compared to the 28 that were supposed to be in it, I got a base shohei ohtani, like 8 base rookies, a bunch of other refractors, and a summertime at the park rookie card elly de la cruz
I like how his finger tips are so refined from experience in the hobby he immediately can tell a slight difference in the cards. The big wigs calling the shots in the boardroom underestimate their customers lol They thought they could slip one past Degen but he calls out they're bs from just a few seconds of holding the cards.

Long story short, we got insanely lucky on our first box and hit a gold refractor Elly De La Cruz Auto and have already sent it off for grading to PSA. What would you ballpark its value at? Appreciate your time if you're able to read this!
So far the only thing i've learned from watchin everyone rip this sstuff is, don't wast the money. Maybe if everyone could have a case hit, then maybe.

Topps really pissed me off with this release. The one hobby box I opened I hit an auto of a dude who literally had 1 AB for the Padres last year. Mason McCoy! And who will never see another AB! How do they justify the price point and put autos in the product like that. The Hobby is getting out of hand. Straight trash.

One of the better boxes of 2024 topps chrome. Most boxes are DUDS. Very little value for the $200+ cost of a box. You got lucky.
