Only calibrate it if you find that I footy focus is not accurate. Make sense? Congrats on your new lens.

I own the Irix 15mm F-mount and just this week I noticed that it’s not focusing to infinity. I’ve just started watching this, so I’m hopeful.

I have an original 15mm Blackstone cannon with Metabones for Sony. I have not noticed softness.

Totally expected. Nearly all the time they come from the factory perfect. But having the option to fix it if it does misalign is gold!

Does the recalibration also solves some wing shape stars at the edges of the irix 15mm? Didn't get that out of the video. Thanks

Hi Pieter: no, sorry that sound like Coma (comatic aberration) which is usually only solved by using a smaller aperture.
