Yeah, came here to say this also. Not too too impressed with the research done on this ‘dangerous insulation’. As long as hes not locked in the car with doors and window locked inhaling every fume while applying it, its not dangerous at all.

@@eivindnyhus9181 Well its a pretty enclosed space. Plus he covered the windows and was clearly trying to "insulate" himself from the outside world, so I would confidently bet he was inside the car without an open window when applying it. And lastly there is obviously a large quantity and he was likely applying it somewhat compulsively, so the sheer frequency of even minor exposure adds up to be a little disconcerting.

man, isse’s story brought me to absolute tears. i’m from columbus ohio, im just becoming an adult myself, and i’m struggling with my physical health which snowballs into mental health struggles as well. they think i have ehler’s-danlos syndrome, which is a mutation with collagen. even though i’m just finding it now, i was born with it and will have it for the rest of my life. collagen is like your body’s glue that holds it together, so it causes me pain and joint issues. i’m 18 and i already have arthritis. i understand him, how scary it is to just be growing up and not knowing what will happen to your body, and to feel so alone because of that. if he can turn it all around like that, then i’ll be ok too. you’re one of my favorite channels to watch, i appreciate you so much for sharing his story

If a customer would start to threaten us, or become hostile, we would likely leave. He was treated terribly by people who saw him as a burden, leech on society, a danger... He was the kindest, most thoughtful person. He was extremely intelligent, despite his unlucky childhood coming up in poverty with mental illness. Schizophrenia and other psychosis causing mental illnesses are so, so awful. Life has not been east for him, and likely still isn't easy at times, but it is so amazing to just see kindness like that actually help someone get better. It's not often you see folks who need help actually ACCEPT it. "Hybrid" guy was clearly in the hospital, but he didn't want help/didn't believe in it. That's a huge factor a lot of people don't really think about, people have to WANT to get better to get better when it comes to issues like these. I'm so glad not only a helping hand(s) were extended to Isse, but he gladly accepted and worked alongside them too.

Watching people deteriorate is incredibly sad, and the way accounts egg them on and social media can feed into their descents is so strange and sad, but learning about these stories also helps remind us how strange life can be and to not take life for granted, I think. “Weird material” is definitely expansion foam. Cleaning in an attempt insulate or create a flexible bond.
Edit: you just mentioned it’s “insulation”. Couple things.
    1. Standard fiberglass insulation like in the image you showed is absolutely not toxic. It’s SPUN AND DYED GLASS FIBERS. The only thing about it that can mess you up is screwing around with it without a mask on because it breaks up and insanely tiny shards of glass go airborne and once inhaled will never leave your lungs.
    2. The “insulation” that is on his van is expansion foam. You can buy cans of it in literally any hardware section. THERE’S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TOXIC ABOUT IT. It’s literally the same stuff they make packaging material and disposable coolers out of… just pre mixed under insane pressure and put into cans so when exposed to decreased air pressure it rapidly expands then hardens.
I’ve been using the stuff in many forms building/remodeling houses for over 15 years.

There's so many stories out there that are almost exploitive of these people who have difficulty and I love that you all focused on the upswing of one individual who clearly made a huge impression with the TikTok community. It is unbelievably sad to see proof of someone doing extremely well in life and loving life and having everything going for them just for a developmental disorder to take over and take literally everything away from them. Isa is a perfect example of somebody who clearly had no control over the progressive and quite clearly malignant manner and which his mental health was declining. I love that you guys focused on him and used his story as an example of sorts that if people are watching you and genuinely care about the situation that you're in there are great people out there who are more than happy to help especially when it comes to people who are not able to help themselves. something about what you said at the end of Isse's story, about the humanity of others, really hit me
i feel its a safe assumption to say that people who watch channels like yours or those in this microcosm of horror can often have their perceptions of the world and people tainted by these few key highlighted negative events and it can be so easy to fall for the trap of highlighting the negative in life while overshadowing the positive.
however, i would like to say that, out of all of the stories portrayed in this video, the one that got the biggest emotional response from me was Isse's redemption and I was able to come out of this video with a brighter mood towards life and humanity even though his was just one story out of the many in this video.
I guess what i want to say is that it life is all perspective and we can make our perspectives of life better by choosing what stories to highlight; highlight the positive and your perspective will change to positive, change your perspective to positive and you can highlight it easier when you see it

As I've not had social media for about a decade, I don't worry about feeds and the happy that others want to highlight for me, just as well, I have a much healthier relationship with the word 'happy' now as a result, approaching my 30s. (:

I'm so glad to see Isse happy and comfortable. I hear of many times mentally unstable people being given a second chance. It doesn't always end well, but you should never give up hope for these people. Watching Isse driving and being excited to meet his family again is just beautiful.

Dude... Dude... That last segment is EXACTLY how to end a video with so much misery. It's the old movie trick of keep 'em depressed till the end and then spring the hope on them. Might not be totally ethical, but it works. It also keeps us coming back. Hope a great motivator. Dum Spiro, Spero.

Regarding Brian Wilkins, that is definitely a different robot. The arms are completely different, his "robot" is just some basic servos with a metal frame attached to a manakin. The Sophie robot is much more advanced mechanically.

That robot is absolutely not the same robot as the one presented on that promotional website. Look at its arms and body compared to the website. It’s not advanced. It just has mannequin parts with basic robot arms.

Isse seems to have developed F.A.S. (foreign accent syndrome) it's fairly common to people who have experienced head trauma/brain damage. like 60% of people who have brain surgery experience it for a few months. it's just when your accent changes to one separate from your peers. American patients afflicted with foreign accent syndrome often copy british accents which seems to be what Isse is replicating.

I sincerely hope Isse gets welcomed into any and every community he blesses his presence with. He seems eccentric, sweet, and harmless and just needs some professional help to get and stay on the right medications. It’s clear that people have an overwhelming instinct to help and protect him as much as they can and that is the best. And I truly don’t think the people who helped him did it for “likes”. It seems like Isse naturally attracts good people who want to help him out of the kindness of their heart which speaks volumes about his character ❤️

    That last story omg ❤
When I had a Very Bad Time a while back, I ended up self committing to a mental institution. My roommate there and I ended up as fast friends, and she ended up needing a ride on the day we were both out, lived out by me, and I took her home.
That was seven years ago. We live in different states now, but hanging out with her and having her in my friend group really changed her for the better (along with medication). She broke a lot of old connections to keep toxic people out of her life, and she's now married to a lovely man with 4 kids (2 bio, 2 step)
We still actively talk, and I'm proud of her every day for keeping up with meds and accepting the help she needed when it was offered. Sorry for getting long winded and sentimental, it's just that stories like Isse's make me very happy as someone who openly talks about mental health in my personal life. ❤❤

6:59 that is NOT from hanson robotics and it most definetly is NOT Sophie! Either way though its so sad that you're adding a lonely guys who actually found a way to be happy and less lonely to this list slating him. It's a massive shame coz i like tdebunk files.. imagine feeling so alone in the world and then having people make videos on you further isolating you from humanity... feels bad.
Bless poor Brian.. hope you don't traction to much of a hate party witch hunting him for literally wanting companionship...
