I've had two of those magnets on the side of the tool box for ages and just installing a sniper this week so this video was very fortuitous timing! Just done the mod and can confirm it works sweet! Cheers!
Lucky thanks for your inspirational videos and fir just showing us how to improve our vehicles whether theyre our every day drivers or our hobbies on the side, keep em coming Lucky.
Great video Lucky , dont know if what i did was spectacular but i finally got my Ram 3500 back on the road , its been down about 3 years , the transmission went out and i rebuilt it myself only the second transmission i have built , but i don't have a lot of money to throw at projects and i wanted to do it up a little better than stock so it took me quite a while , then having to order the selectives to make sure all the tolerances were good , plus i have pretty much been working midnights the whole time till recently and with having a wife and kids balancing the time has been tough but i got it . Still some things i want to do to it but just happy to be driving it again.
Magnets are great. You can also get em cheap at Hobo Freight. Put a piece of clear packing tape over the back to help hold the magnet and also protect against scratches from the magnet.
I always wondered what happened to the Dodge truck that Dave and Mike saved on a old episode of Road Kill. Now I know. Lucky we need a update on your mini truck. 6=8.
Heres a tech tip...if that magnet is strong enough it can compromise the data on the SD card in the handheld. Not to mention the display and components built into the handheld itself.
Where I live with all the ethanol in our fuel, it just gets too hot under the hood for a carb. The lousy corn fuel boils in the bowl and it runs like crap unless you're on the highway. EFI solves the problem.
Any woman I go on a date with better like the screen up front and center or she can catch a uber!😂
Thats what Im talking about!!!!! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 Just pinned this comment to the top🏁
Lucky is the total opposite of some of those "car guys" on various shows, very refreshing.
Thanks for watching!
You scratch the hell out of your dash when you moved it.. lol
Love the D100. I'd like to see more of this build.
Thanks for watching!
I would love to have the confidence and money to build something close to that D100.
Love the updated music and intro.
Glad you enjoy it!
Nice Kentucky Lucky sign in the back round...😂😂😂

Nice tech tip!!! That ashtray would be a really cool place to mount that display that is hideable.
I think so too!

Lucky: You can put cloth tape on the back of the holder in case you have a painted dash. Scratches dash. 🤣🤣🤣
Yes!!!!!
Christmas tree bits as Derek from Vice Grip calls 'em
lol
Great idea with the magnets. I have some from Temu.🙂
Thanks for watching!
My dates hate big screens in the car on date night!! Thanks Lucky!
Thanks for watching!
@@luckysgarageshow no problem Todd 🍻
Great information , thank you Lucky
My pleasure

👊🏻🏁
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. It helps a lot😁👍👍!
Happy to help!
Yes sir guy's nice work allways ok have a great weekend ok later 💪🏼 🏁 👍
Thanks 👍
6:26 - the tape wasn't enough for the strong magnet, considering the new pinstripe being created 😅
That ride sounds good
Keep up the good work Lucky!
Thanks, will do!
Interesting. I went on Etsy and bought a touch screen holder that had a GoPro mount. Then I bought a magnetic GoPro base. Your way is way cheaper! 😂
Great info!
Glad it was helpful!
Best way to reach out for a engine swap quote

Great video . Fun as always
Thank you 🤗

The sun will be out to destroy your tape later when you go get some of those freekin awesome looking tacos 🌮
Awesome idea!
Thank you! Cheers!

I need one of those for my phone!
👊🏻👊🏻🏁🏁🏁
Nic tip Lucky!!!
Glad you liked it
Looking good colonel sanders 🎉 you do more than fry chicken 🎉
Thanks for watching!
I’m surprised. I would have thought that the magnets would have screwed with the display.
Nope! All good!
The data on the SD card is the real concern. Magnets and memory devices dont mix!
OK FINE!
Will those super strong earth magnets damage the unit?
Great tip, but if my dash is plastic, do you have any plastic magnets 😅
Unfortunately not😂
So did I miss the episode when you acquired the D100? Is this the same D100 from Roadkill?
Later Dudes
Pie plate d100. Doesn't get any better. Throw a slanty, 3tree, and holley 1920, away we go!
Can we see more of sticks mcgann pls?? 😂
The magnet doesn’t mess with the screen ?
…. I guess not
Nope!
Do you have the Col. Sanders sign because someone thinks you look like him? Maybe I missed that episode..
Don't use what's called "rare earth" magnets, they'll affect the LCD screen!
Trash it and put a carb in it's place. Hack complete. Lol.
I mostly agree with you, but if you like boost, EFI is your friend. I still have my giant Holley jet kit and all my carb tools👍

Is this an Ai deep fake? Lucky is far too clean, no sparks and no time lapses with the cheerful chipmunk voices.
But I dig the idea.
