- When we booked a 14-hour flight from Auckland to Houston, we braced for the mess that would be two young kids on an epically long flight. And then as I bought the tickets, I saw a small upgrade option for the New Zealand Sky Couch. What is it and is it worth it?

Smart parenting tip! Looks pretty cool.
10/10 ⭐️
way cool. never even heard of it...
I found even with not laying down the sky couch was still worth it as the leg rests allowed me to move into a lot more different positions.
Yes! My legs are always going to sleep while flying since they are always stuck in the same position. It was so freeing to just be able to move around!
Excellent review A+
Did you purchase 6 seats in order to have two rolls?
No we purchased four seats and then upgraded to two rows
Thank you so much and I greatly appreciate it!
I have wanted to know for ages whether the sky couch is good or not. It looks really comfortable with all the extra bedding. Next year they are introducing the Skynest, which are individual lay flat beds for economy customers which you hire for 4 hour periods. It kinda makes flying with Air New Zealand, a pretty easy choice.
Ooh that is so interesting! We definitely would only fly them to NZ. Other airlines need to start copying them!
They are a very innovative company. My first big South Island trip was when my first born was 4 months old. Sharing travel with your children will benefit them greatly.@@heathandalyssa
Make sure y'alls come back!
For sure!!
Where to next? Will y’all be in Texas through the holidays?
Next videos will be the UK! :)
Hi there, is it worth for 2 adults
I think it depends on your size. It would be tight for taller/larger couples. It was perfect me (5’2”) and a child.
What was it like if the person in front reclines. Does it make it more cramped or not noticeable?
Not super noticeable!
