To dispel darkness, a lamp is needed. One must seek that which is beyond perception (God).
When that invisible essence (God) is found, the lamp (knowledge) resides within.
What is the use of reading or contemplating? What is the use of listening to the Vedas and Puranas?
Reading and listening are futile if one does not attain Him through natural realization.
The foolish one who does not chant the name of Hari, why does he keep worrying repeatedly?
Kabir says, now I have understood. When I understood, my mind also accepted it.
When the mind accepts, people do not believe it.
If people do not believe, why should it matter?
