Nobody can understand the importance of this ending unless you have been playing the trilogy without hate and judgement. Such a beautiful closure to the series. So sad that it was unappreciated..
I know, right? Watching the ending I was like "Man, they can finally live in peace" and it's cool that it tries to make you see they're each one on different paths now that they've accomplished their mission.
Are you referring to the fan fiction tale involving her and Fang (who I strongly feel she's referring to when she said that "Soon, we'll be together")?
The 13 trilogy really gets a lot of undeserved hate. Are they the best Final Fantasy games? No. But they are still good and tell a pretty amazing story.
I absolutely loved this ending! Although, yeah, I agree with most people that the ending of the first game was already good (and they should have ended it there), Lightning Returns provided the closure. With the first game, even though they were able to complete their focus and wake up from crystal stasis, the concepts of Fal'cie and L'cie were still there. The cycle would continue. With the ending of Lightning Returns, they are brought to a new world where people could no longer be enslaved by deities and turn into l'cie or even cie'th. Yes, they no longer had the powers and the magic, but they also no longer need to fight in the new world. And I think that's a beautiful way to end the entire saga. In a way, it reminds of the ending of Fullmetal Alchemist in which (SPOILER alert) Ed loses his ability to use alchemy in exchange for returning Al's soul into his body. Indeed, Ed lost a huge part of himself by losing his alchemy, but in the same way, he finally has a chance to live a normal life and tread on a new path that he'll be creating for himself.
Os Muyco I wish they would have just stopped after the first game. I thought FF13-2 was way less interesting and Lightning Returns was actually terrible but I played it to see how the trilogy ended.
Well would be better if somehow this Final Fantasy XII story were the truth, even though it was impossible. But its funny to imagine, who knows I was someone that are related and close to them in the old world, lol And if it is, i want to meet Lightning, she must be somewhere in this world which is most likely in Japanese based on that ending lol
Yeah this ending was totally awesome! The power of friendship destroyed all the evil of the world. When they all combined their friendship rings together after popping out of bubbles to meet up with Lightening, they were able to vanquish all evil with the power of friendship. Totally makes sense, this was the greatest game EVER. 10/10 they defeated God! Seriously?
+Os Muyco The idea of lightning being Toriyama's waifu soo hard that he has actually made her exist on Earth in the canon of FFXIII is still gross to me
For sure. It's probably the most cinematic Final Fantasy ending there is, and one of the most of all time. Like you can see this being in a full length movie of some sort.
GamerLegend1177 if you think this is the best ending ever, you have serious story telling issues, this is known by lots for having the worst ending out of all final fantasy games.
Loved that ending. Felt gloomy, bitter sweet and brought a closure to the trilogy. Also loved the final part with Noel Cauis and Yeul - was so happy they had chosen to bring it up with goos closure as well. Ballad is such a great character.
LR ending was good, although not totally fair under my judgement. I was hopping the six characters would finally stay and live together, but instead they reincarnated, except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all. And yes, Caius was a villain much more badass than Sephiroth, and I loved to see his redemption in the end.
Man...the memories and feels (13:27 - 13:58) when I first started playing this series. I remember all those scenes and having it all cap like that?? Good times and good fights and lots of play time. GREAT STORY from FF 13 to Lightning Returns.

I hate how people go crazy if you say an unpopular final fantasy is your favorite...a true final fantasy fan knows that other true final fantasy fans have there own unique experience and also touches our hearts in different ways.that being said I can't agree with you on the gameplay and story...but hands down 13-13/2 have the best soundtrack of ANY Final Fantasy! There I said it
That's not even the real God because he can't see souls. More like an idiot who calls himself God. The sad thing is, the heroes buy into it, while using the human souls that were obviously inserted in them by a real Deity to defeat this false one. I mean, isn't seeing and guiding souls deity skills #101?
HolyknightVader999 Bhuni is God. Just because he's God doesn't mean he created EVERYTHING. For example, Zeus (King of Gods) doesn't have the power of everything. He has his limits too.
I always loved this ending for two reasons: 1. They proved that they didn't need a deity to determine their fates. 2. They realized that the true power was deep within their souls and their experiences as the people they were. They needed nobody or NO THING to determine who they were.
Final Fantasy XIII wasn't my favorite games on the series, but i love this ending so much, the atheism concept and Lightning's Power beyond universal level. Final Fantasy XIII mhythology is awesome.
The epilogue's graphic is so smooth that I almost think it was real and now I'm still staring at the absolute perfectness of the train And their monologue still so dramatic and chuuni and makes me blushing in shame and I absolutely love this cutscene's ending
Finally a happy end to the characters... More or less, I wished they could live together, but ended being reborn... At least they finally find freedom. I don't know why some people hate so much FF 13... To me was the best FF until now. I loved it.
Yes I played since FF-8 and and this does not take from me the right of like 13. If you hate it, your problem, not mine. This is a matter of personal opinion and you don't dare to say to me what I have to think garbage or not. I decide that.
Silas Renan Nope, it's never a problem. It's funny that some people like FFXIII's story, but hey it's your opinion right. But my main point is the STORY SUCKED, I never said that you should not like it. FFXIII should have ended in the first FFXIII game, it would've made less things complicated and it would've been a better ending. I'm emphasizing that FFXIII-2 had the WORST ending, why? because it has a TO BE CONTINUED in it.. a first in FF which is really a bad thing. It's all a cashgrab. ANd please FFXIII LR is the worst, because we can only control one character and the "dress changes"? that sucks.. LAme as shit and the story is over convoluted. SO you play only FFVIII? that was a great FF my first even.. But I've played FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX and FFXII.. those have epic storylines. FFXIII is the WORSE FF GAME OUT THERE. Cool if you like it, but REAL FF fans know that it is the weakest among all Final Fantasies, why? because its director Toriyama can't let go of his "crush" on Lightning, which is fucking weird. But square enix was ok with that because it's a cash grab. It bears the name FF so why not make sequesl? That's why Hironubu Sakaguchi didn't believe in sequels for FF... that's why FFX-2 sucked, and FFXIII sucked and FFXIII's sequels suck. Again, you like it? fine. But not every opinion is correct, because the fact is FFXII is the WORSE FF to date. Even Square Enix acknowledges their mistake, even fired the higher ups of Square Enix for the dumb decisions they made.
I said I have played FFs SINCE FF-8, not only 8. I have played 8, 9, 10, 10-2, and 13 series. And again, it is your opinion. For example, to me, 12 sucks and I loved 13. To you, it is the opposite. It is a matter of opinion, nothing more. I loved SPECIALLY LR. I liked the system they developed to play a FF with only one character, I like Lightning and I liked specially the role of savior LR presented. As you said, "not every opinion is correct", and this includes yours ;) You may not force me (or anyone) to agree with you. Thus, speak only for yourself.
Silas Renan Like I said, NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO UNLIKE LR... BUt you're in the minority. You do realize that MOST FF fans hate the LR game, heck even the whole FFXIII series.. You like it? uhmmm ok, but you can't deny FACT from fiction. LR SUCKS and that's a fact. If it is in your opinion that it is good then good for you, but FFXIII SAGA is the worse. And I don't believe you played the past series, that's my opinion, Am I right or not , that's my opinion, it may not be factual because perhaps you have played it, but the way you are telling me you played all of the past FF especially on the pS one yet you like LR, seems suspicious, but it doesn't matter. LR system SUCKS... I don't want dresspheres and shit, and only one character? last time I checked, FF is a game for characters. Heck I even like the characters of FFXIII-2 more but the story sucked in FFXIII-2... So yeah, it's a matter of opinion, but not all opinions are CORRECT. You my friend, are in the minority. LR SUCKS
I have a theory, I mean you know how when you start a new game and Lightning says to hope "I have a feeling of DejaVu"? it sorta makes it seem that all of them are trapped in a time loop forever and they cannot escape
While I had originally felt they should have just stopped with XII since it wrapped up nicely, (even though I did like the characters from XIII-2), this ending changed my mind. It was brilliantly written and closed everything up in that feel good way. Plus that CG is absolutely gorgeous.
i wish they made a movie of xiii... i just love the graphics, character designs and everything... if i have the money, id buy a ps3 (or any console applicable) just so i could play this game...
Seeing Lightning crying for the first time caught me off guard. This is a wonderful ending. While maybe not as god as other games, I think It could have been a hell of a lot worse.
Actually it was not the first time we saw she crying. Still in 13-1 she cried in that scene with Snow on top of the mountain (in the path to Achlyte Sttepe).
I just finished this game... and it was spectacular!!! the ending was really beyond amazing for me. The fact that Serah came back to life and Yeul was set free from her duty as a Seeress and was able to be w/ Noel, and everyone else gathering in the end like old times, was worth all this wait. It took me forever to beat 3 games because of some resposabilities I have nowadays... besides, I wanted to beat 100% all of the games. From the 3 games, I'll probably go w/ the first one being the best one out of all of them simply because you could play w/ all the characters. But storywise, I'd definitely go w/ this one as the best one hands down! what a finale... and that extra scene in the end after the credits was great as well. Now I need to buy my PS4 to play FFXV lol
Can someone explain to me the ending? When Lightning says someday we will be together, who is she talking to? Also, what happened to the others, like Snow, Sazh, Noel, Serah, etc? And I'm guessing the new world is Earth, guessing by her style of clothes, the cars, roads, trains, etc.
It's probably Toriyama could finally have a possible spinoff where he gets to date Lightning. The FFXIII series has all been leading up to that very spinoff.
DHeroDarkMagicianGuy yeah except that before FF13, people were saying FF10 is the prelude to FF7 because of how the pyreflies in Farplane that looks like Lifestream too. Doesn't help that there's a genius name "Shinra" in FF10-2 who at one point discovered that the pyreflies of Farplane makes good energy source. Sounds too much like Mako Energy and Shinra Inc, don't you think?
Hi. So I just uploaded my ending video for this game and SE is claiming copyright on it and it is now blocked worldwide. How did you get to keep this video online?
I enjoyed the first game. I would've been fine if that had been the ending, since in real life things don't always work out perfectly. If the first 13 had ended it, then they would've gotten their friends back, their brands removed, and started a new life on pulse. Instead, they took it a few games further and decided to basically just move them to Earth. Still, the ending of this game still makes me feel sad, nostalgic and happy in a way, since I enjoyed the first game and it's characters so much. I was younger then, but I still loved it and it holds a special place in my heart, so I can't help but feel positively about this ending.
LR ending was good, although not totally fair under my judgement. I was hopping the six characters would finally stay and live together, but instead they reincarnated, except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all.
mmm i wish they made FF13 with the timeline or period where lightning is at the end, looks interesting, and the story was about something more realistic or somithing like studio gigli
Yeah, LR ending was good, although not totally fair under my judgement. I was hopping the six characters would finally stay and live together, but instead they reincarnated, except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all.
Ok i absolutely loved playing this game . But actually i cant believe this is a goodbye to this amazing company. Danggg every time i think that this game's story has ended i feel such nostalgia. I miss their story from xiii till xiii-3. Glad this game really existed. Hope you didnt end there.
after years and hours invested in this series I am satisfied with this ending I do have some of my (it should of gone this way) ideas but, after the hard work of beating 'god' the cg was incredible! Why do we not have more FF movies...
(Long explanation) I thought about that too the first time I saw the scene. Remember you had to prove yourself to the Eidolons before being able to use them? I was sort of a start of a mythological relationship. You spend very long time with them, you gained their trust and they protect you (remember the Eden invading cutsene in FFXIII?). After FFXIII we don't actually get to see any Eidolons except for Odin (well, and Mog), but it is just the perfect example. Even after Lightning fell into the Unseen Realm, Odin helped her fighting Caius for the sake of Etro and Valhalla. And again, in Lightning Returns, Odin still trusts Lightning and helps her. My theory is that the same happened with the other characters. Even when they lost they L'Cie powers, the Eidolons help them in the final battle, although it is going against the God who might have also created them. And now, for Noel summoning Brynhildr, I just though that, as Eidolons are rational, Brynhildr helped Noel because he was actually in Luxerion's Cathedral and "entered" to the "creation of the new world" just like the others. Sazh was never there to start with. Sazh was quite the most human of all the characters. He never really liked to battle too much (as we see all around in FFXIII) and it is most probably that he just didn't enter "the creation place" like the others did and simply waited and searched within all the souls for Serah (which would be less risky than trying to fight God, having a son to protect), as he says at the end. Well, it is just what I thought, because it is quite obvious that Sazh was missing in the final battle. Just busy searching for Serah or recomforting his son.
Sakenra well it could be like that... but i bet what was going on the producers's heads when they make this was something like person1:"lets put all the cast and their eidolons in the final battle cutscene" person2: "yeah that would be great... but what would noel do?" person3:"give him brynhildr" person2: "then what would sazh do?" person3:"just send him away or something... he has no fans anyway... do no one is looking forward to see him."
This story is ridiculously silly. "You've been defeated! By me and my SUPER DUPER FRIENDS!" (That are popping out of bubbles as we speak.) "The one thing you don't know, is that our friendship rings give us SUPER DUPER POWERS!" This shit sounds, and even vaguely looks like a power ranger episode. And that sucks because FF games normally make the gamer feel intense, strong emotions that are riveting and memorable. FF13 falls flat and tanks in that department.
WTF... WTF... WTF... WTF... Seriously? That's is it, that's the bloody end?! I just don't know what to feel, I'm just shocked. 13:30 So all Eidolons, all the magic, all the monsters, Cocoon and Pulse, everything simply vanished?! I'm really sad, in my opinion it was really disappointing, I don't even feel excited anymore to finish XIII-2...
All of them reincarnated (even Mog and the summons), except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all. Those who gave hands (like Serah, Snow and Mog) born together. Noel went with Yeul. At least this was what I understood.
I find it really interesting that the dev team from this trilogy went directly from this to the FFVII Remake. I keep thinking they were hinying at it with the lifestream at the end.
I really enjoy the way you do the lets play for FF! how you leave the boring part out.!! I don't know about how bad the game is but i really enjoyed the whole story :D
Caius is badassssss. L: ''I've offer you salvation!'' C: ''I refuse.'' Seriously, have any other game had a villian/hero that has been as unstoppable as Caius?
did they all go their separate ways or did it just randomly separate them for the time being and are hope and lightning a thing because why is always their when she is gonna do something
I loved Caius from the beginning tbh, but what he does at the end. If people still hate him after that 🤷 He turned from morally grey into an actual hero
my theory: all final fantasies are in the same universe. Each world in each ff ends and is reborn hence creating a new world. and if my theory is correct than this one should be the final one due to the fact there is no more powers. But even so it could end and create another one with magic. Tho I could be wrong so no hate, just a wild thought
+Xx Sirus xX I mean look at FF15, They said it was gonna be a game based on reality. The 'New world' Looks similar to earth (If you look closely you can kinda see the outline of Africa and Europe). So yeah they are in the same universe 0-0
+BlueLight especially after this one, it's very obvious. and with ff15 being considered the new world it's way too obvious. now I must look through the others to find if they follow along with this
I was looking everywhere for that part when Lightning came out from the train. I wanted to see her smiling so bad. :) Thank god i finally find it. Anyway.. this trilogy is in my opinion the best from the Final Fantasy franchise. It has everything. I never cried so hard like i did when i finished Final Fantast XIII and XIII - 2 in my life! I cried because of joy at the and of XIII ( call me a girl i don't care :) ) . XIII - 2 is the saddest game of the trilogy and it's not for everybody. It's so sad to see Lightning and the others trying so hard to make everything normal again but then everything fades away. Lightning Returns which i haven't played yet but i watched it on yt gave me hope and made me more stronger. The end was just amazing.. you finally get to see Lightning happy after everything she get through so totally worth to play. I appreciate everything the developers did in this game.
This has to be the best ending ever!! All of the characters got to live and the villain was defeated. I am so glad the series ended this way. Especially my favorite character Fang. She is awesome!! :) Great ending.
LR ending was good, although not totally fair under my judgement. I was hopping the six characters would finally stay and live together, but instead they reincarnated, except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all.
I enjoyed the trilogy, for me the second game was the best and this whole game was worth the while for just those like 10 seconds that Caius sets things right for Noel and THE Yeul who didn't love Caius was set free, :´) I loved that scene!!!! And well in general it was a very touchy ending, I really enjoyed this saga.Wonder whatthe hell did they smoke or eat to make this one?? LOL ;) thnx 4 the great upload!!!! Cheers
If there was a Final Fantasy game that was based on Earth, which of your favorite races of the Final Fantasy series would you like to have colonize the New World (North and South America)?
Lightning seems to be the most powerful FF character ever and part 4 might happen with God coming back who knows, hopefully if it does happen it will be at least no earlier than 2020 and Lightning = Antichrist ?
Hopefully not because this wasn't great it was an average over hyped game literally the story in it is fucking stupid it annoys me that a game like this got a trilogy but final fantasy 7-8-9 didn't get fuck all
Well we might get a part 2 for 7 and 8 if they remake them and with 13 square enix could've done something good i mean it's easy to have good characters with a good plot but hard to have good characters with a bad story.
Nobody can understand the importance of this ending unless you have been playing the trilogy without hate and judgement. Such a beautiful closure to the series. So sad that it was unappreciated..

completely agree TheCHeapScholar
One of the most beautiful endings of any videogame if invested in the trilogy
Can we just acknowledge how much more beautiful Lightning's face looks now that she is at peace...
I mean that look at that smile! ;-;
Someone got a crush on her? :)
It is probably one of the best looking games from last generation over all.
and casual clothes Lightening is great xD
Lightning is a true beauty.
....and thats the story of how Lightning became a model for Louis Vuitton XD
😂😂
Are you referring to the fan fiction tale involving her and Fang (who I strongly feel she's referring to when she said that "Soon, we'll be together")?
No like, lightning really did become a Louis Vuitton model lol
kahf dija - I had to ask (the fan fiction tale involving her and Fang is true though).
But Fang loves Vanille O.o It doesn't make any sense this fan fic XD LOL
See Lightning cry, makes me cry. End.
The 13 trilogy really gets a lot of undeserved hate. Are they the best Final Fantasy games? No. But they are still good and tell a pretty amazing story.
agreed big fan of ff and 13 trilogy was good
The story still confuses me to this day
its confusing because of the time travel and anomlies that were introduced in 13-2 and 13-3. plus this game has plot holes for days
Jason Warnecke if you can somehow follow the "amazing story"
So basically its the birth of the real world??!! Thats so cool!
Gotta say, this ending was in all over the place but its good to see the world of FFXIII finally at peace.
I will give them one thing. Their cenamatics are very well done.
Am I the only one that feels Noel, Caius and Yule stole the show in the ending?
Yeah they really did
No your not the only one caius alone did lmao

Me too! :)

yeah she lives normal life now and that's why i saw her last week..

I saw her modeling a few months ago
I married her and we have twins, Marcus and Eli. We are a tight knit family.

Shade Silverstun hehe, it's one of my favourites too

That would explain why FFXI begins in the real world.
Now that's a pro-atheism ending if I've ever seen one. Slay god and be free from his arrogant paternalism.

I mean, isn't seeing and guiding souls deity skills #101?
+HolyknightVader999 God didn't create souls. The Mother of Chaos did. That's why he couldn't see souls.
Soul King
Then Bhuni isn't God. The very concept of God with a capital G is that He made all souls.
HolyknightVader999 Bhuni is God. Just because he's God doesn't mean he created EVERYTHING. For example, Zeus (King of Gods) doesn't have the power of everything. He has his limits too.
Soul King
Zeus was not called God. He was just called Zeus. The main idea behind the capital G God is that He made everything, including souls.
I always loved this ending for two reasons:
1. They proved that they didn't need a deity to determine their fates.
2. They realized that the true power was deep within their souls and their experiences as the people they were. They needed nobody or NO THING to determine who they were.
You know, people who haven't seen or completed the predecessors of this game will NEVER understand the flashback Lightning had.
Totally agreed! :)
Final Fantasy XIII wasn't my favorite games on the series, but i love this ending so much, the atheism concept and Lightning's Power beyond universal level. Final Fantasy XIII mhythology is awesome.
all that adventures, so that they can live a boring life like ours?
InnerFire6213 they'll probably take that over all the violence and loss.
So she can become a Louis Vuitton model, it was her secret dream
Do you really want to live like someone is out there to kill you or to enslave you?
The epilogue's graphic is so smooth that I almost think it was real and now I'm still staring at the absolute perfectness of the train
And their monologue still so dramatic and chuuni and makes me blushing in shame and I absolutely love this cutscene's ending
Haters gonna Hate... this was the best FFXIII. The message is clear, we are the children of those who defeated God.
Finally a happy end to the characters... More or less, I wished they could live together, but ended being reborn... At least they finally find freedom.
I don't know why some people hate so much FF 13... To me was the best FF until now. I loved it.
I assume you haven't played past FF games, especially during the ps one era. FFXIII is garbage.
As you said, "not every opinion is correct", and this includes yours ;)
You may not force me (or anyone) to agree with you.
Plus that CG is absolutely gorgeous.
proof that friendship indeed beats everything. power of friendship
i wish they made a movie of xiii...
i just love the graphics, character designs and everything...
if i have the money, id buy a ps3 (or any console applicable) just so i could play this game...
Does anyone else kind of get the inkling that this is some kind of lifestream reference>
you could pinpoint exactly where my NoelxSerah ship sunk and I was perfectly okay with that. :')
Lol was it when Noel caught Yuel?
+SabersxEdge spot on 👍🏼 I love the way he looks at her
Seeing Lightning crying for the first time caught me off guard.
Cut to the opening of Final Fantasy VII
+KazamaNoMishima Lol when I first saw this I was like "Lifestream"! Haha.
Thats what I thought
FUCK YOU DONT YOU TRY TO EVEN CONNECT THIS SHIT GAME TO FF VII
Matt skirble if u dont like it y u watching the video, gtfo
I like to imagine XIII's new world as the same world of XV.
It's so beautiful it made me cry
Me too :)
lightning looked better than usual at the end ;)
i want more of this why does it end :(
And I thought the ending to BioShock Infinite made me sad. This ending made me fucking cry my heart out
Aaron Gala Because it was so bad?
Julian Silva no
Julian Silva No it was because it was so good
Can someone explain to me the ending? When Lightning says someday we will be together, who is she talking to? Also, what happened to the others, like Snow, Sazh, Noel, Serah, etc? And I'm guessing the new world is Earth, guessing by her style of clothes, the cars, roads, trains, etc.
I'm assuming they meet up on Earth.
It's probably Toriyama could finally have a possible spinoff where he gets to date Lightning. The FFXIII series has all been leading up to that very spinoff.
They show was happened when they were heading to the new world. They split up (unintentionally).
I'm calling it. It's the world FF7 inhabits. Did no one notice how all the souls seemed to form the Lifestream?
Mark the game in the description.
ahhhh this ending made me cry
I enjoyed the first game. I would've been fine if that had been the ending, since in real life things don't always work out perfectly. If the first 13 had ended it, then they would've gotten their friends back, their brands removed, and started a new life on pulse. Instead, they took it a few games further and decided to basically just move them to Earth.
Still, the ending of this game still makes me feel sad, nostalgic and happy in a way, since I enjoyed the first game and it's characters so much. I was younger then, but I still loved it and it holds a special place in my heart, so I can't help but feel positively about this ending.
probably one of the most satisfying endings I've ever seen.
LR ending was good, although not totally fair under my judgement. I was hopping the six characters would finally stay and live together, but instead they reincarnated, except by Lightning, who becomes eternal and guardian of the new world. But it was not a sad ending, after all.
Killing God is always one of the most satisfying moments
They kill god right, at the end ?
Still suprised that hasn't came up on Fox news,
Played all 3 episodes 3 times XD
mmm i wish they made FF13 with the timeline or period where lightning is at the end, looks interesting, and the story was about something more realistic or somithing like studio gigli
Hope you didnt end there.
its been stated by the creator of final fantasy that this is not the last time we will see lightning
omggggg really?
PikaGirl S. Yeah, i found out like a month ago, i got so excited
PikaGirl S. He said she will star or feature in a future final fantasy game
WOW feelin so excited now....only ligtning or and the others chars?
after years and hours invested in this series I am satisfied with this ending I do have some of my (it should of gone this way) ideas but, after the hard work of beating 'god' the cg was incredible! Why do we not have more FF movies...
no one is going to point out about how Noel comes up in the final battle while summoning Brynhildr instead of Sazh...
Sakenra well it could be like that... but i bet what was going on the producers's heads when they make this was something like
person1:"lets put all the cast and their eidolons in the final battle cutscene"
person2: "yeah that would be great... but what would noel do?"
person3:"give him brynhildr"
person2: "then what would sazh do?"
person3:"just send him away or something... he has no fans anyway... do no one is looking forward to see him."
I was looking forward to Sazh :<
I really like him. It would cool if they had made him badass like Fang or Snow.
Does Anyone know the soundtrack that starts at 9:31 ? its so good!!! when he star talking to cauis and everything ?/
how did you upload this final part If I upload it then its blocked worldwide
Try to mark the game in the description. It will give Copyright and maybe unblocks it.
Owh.. so.. she moved to france. And.. how did you know that?
+Echa Shadrina It's written "Blanc Chateau" on the side of the train station. Plus the train, the houses and the scenery are typically french.
so now she can has boyfriend, fell in love, and be louis vuitton model!
blackcat138 *girlfriend named Fang.
Does anyone know the song at 6:25?
I hope they would make a movie about lightning 😚
Considering Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, I don’t think that’d be good for the series.
I did some digging from th sign gare which is French and then the number on the front of the train which led me to a town called uberach
Lightning went to the world of FFVII?
I really did cry though more of the video. Like everytime i want the ending i just cry.
Anyone else want Lightning to make an appearance in ff15?
anybody else tear up?
I'm not crying! I just got something in my eye! QAQ
8:24 is literally just a "the magic of friendship" moment :)
They didn't vanish, they would appear in the next world reincarnated.
I find it really interesting that the dev team from this trilogy went directly from this to the FFVII Remake. I keep thinking they were hinying at it with the lifestream at the end.
It made me connect both stories haha, as if they were both in the same universe. Makes me wonder who would be the ancients
Come to think of it Bhunivelze does sorta look like Jenova
I really enjoy the way you do the lets play for FF! how you leave the boring part out.!!
I don't know about how bad the game is but i really enjoyed the whole story :D
While I didn't like the gameplay and thought the story was a bit iffy, I do like this ending
Caius is badassssss.
L: ''I've offer you salvation!''
C: ''I refuse.''
Seriously, have any other game had a villian/hero that has been as unstoppable as Caius?
This is Best ending ever!!!!
See you all in FFXV! :)
Yep, I'm looking forward to another FF game (even though I wasn't a huge fan of Lightning Returns).
Anyone have the song at 13:30
Say what you want, but this game is my very first FF game, and I loved every second of it
did they all go their separate ways or did it just randomly separate them for the time being and are hope and lightning a thing because why is always their when she is gonna do something
Appearantly the louis vuitton thing is cannon then, at the end she moves to i don't know where and ends up being a model
I loved Caius from the beginning tbh, but what he does at the end. If people still hate him after that 🤷 He turned from morally grey into an actual hero
we literally live in the Final fantasy XIII universe... and i love it.
Maybe that happened in real life who knows x)
And that's how our world (Earth) was created. :') This is my new religion.
my theory: all final fantasies are in the same universe.
+BlueLight I'm glad someone agrees with me
Xx Sirus xX YEAH! They have to confirm it! They can't hide it any longer... I think they know we know .
+BlueLight especially after this one, it's very obvious. and with ff15 being considered the new world it's way too obvious. now I must look through the others to find if they follow along with this
Xx Sirus xX I hope so much that it will be. It just makes sense! *Internet high five*
I appreciate everything the developers did in this game.
and please don't ask me why i called myself Farron. It's just because i like Lightning so much right know..
Before Anna And Elsa , there was Claire And Sarah , 2 sisters who really love each other and save each other
God such a perfect ending. (cries for 10 years)
This has to be the best ending ever!!
+Silas Renan I just loved the fact that they all very much survived. Especially my favorite character Fang lol
Yeah, if not, it would be totally unfair :)
So the world became... our world?
Oresama Cray that's what it hints at yes
Ahhh, i want more TT^TT . The ending was so beautiful and i just need more movie in it!!
I'd have preferred that last streak in the sky to be Jenova falling to the north pole.
Can we discuss this...I was so confused after I beat it...
Lightning is gonna be in FFXV then?
lightning is like tifa meets yuna..... strong on the outside but fragile on the inside....
The ending a little Power Rangers style)) Generally the scenario of this game is the craziest i've ever seen.
Lightning seems to be the most powerful FF character ever and part 4 might happen with God coming back who knows, hopefully if it does happen it will be at least no earlier than 2020 and Lightning = Antichrist ?
No. FF 13 is only a trilogy, FF 14 has been out, and FF 15 comes out soon, so it's impossible.
Well they said the same for Star wars and look what happened. I'm not saying it will happen but Square enix could if they spin enough shit.
Jack Strife no. please, no. i mean no disrespect but no
I can't accept it! It's not over! nomura!! make a collab at least. the ending sounds like a cliff hanger as well.
I wanna cry
I have so many questions and i don't want any of the responses.
11:01 keep her safe that's where we get to see caius for the last time
