The biggest risk in aviation right now is pilot fatigue. Let's hope Riyadh Air won't be another sweatshop airline where pilots are worked to point of exaustion and too afraid of their jobs to go fatigued. The regulators rules which are absolute limits are now used by most airlines as operational targets so they can run their program with the minimum headcount. It WILL end in disaster.
I haven't seen a planes from the Middle East Big 3 suffer any crashes or fatalities. Airlines are very safe with current work rules. You know already the focus of the airline is not on employee comfort and rights.
No offence but he sounds like a used car salesman. Odd reference to DiCaprio at TWA as he was a fraudulent pretend pilot ultimately arrested and jailed.
No. Riyadh Air the best name they could have chosen. They need the name "Riyadh" to be everywhere, they want people to think of Riyadh when they think of the Middle East, not Dubai.
"Kingdom" makes me think about Monarch Airlines, a former UK low cost and charter airline, that went bankrupt in 2017. So to me, Kingdom sounds more LCC than Riyadh Air does.
People are just fed up of flying for their own airline in middle east, so they see ryadhair as an opportunity to runaway from EK QR FZ etc and make even more and quick money to leave the ME
Yikes… does anyone in a corporate world pay attention to relevant experience on a CV? The guy failed one airline… sat out a bit and now given billions to do what? To fail another airline??? 😂
Boeing is a huge safety risk ....even with NASA they had issues securing from the space station to Earth. I'm rooting for RA but hope they are making safe decisions instead of what's profitable and cheap.
Herb Keller had to do the same thing to launch Southwest. New airline CEOs have to find a way to create buzz otherwise people will just fly Emirates instead.
Tony Douglas + Boeing…… what could possibly go wrong
He just sounds like a corporate robot with cliches ...

Riyadh Airline will be the best airline, eagerly waiting for joining as aircraft maintenance member. My dream job.
Typical negative comments on here again! I wish him all the best!

I guess "KINGDOM" would have been a lot better Name than Riyadh Air. It sounds like a budget air.

Honestly they can make that their callsign. It would be cool
As with everything happening in the GCC, it has to be bigger and bigger and bigger.
His jacket reveals some part of the new uniforms
What will be the wages?

Was he at Etihad earlier?
The guy should be introducing acts at a holiday camp talent night
Another English man taking the lead
They seem to like white guys, look at Emirates CEO
sad to see one of the greatest professionals in the industry being transformed to a clown
what a joke of an interview and CEO, used car sales man is being very polite

Too much hype but ……

The way Boeing got off with barely a scratch on the 737MAX crashes doesn’t bide well with us passengers
What did he achieve for Etihad Airways ? Any success story ?
Will they serve alcohol during the flight?
No

@@jenniferakasiarcher3641 no they won’t.
