I lived in Portland Maine for a summer and we went to the docks to pick up fresh lobster from the fishermen (so cheap) and steamed lobsters from dinner many many nights. The fishermen showed me how to make a lobster go to sleep so I didn’t feel so bad about steaming them alive. 🎉

I was never raised on seafood to this day in my 50s.I still never even tried it.ive never tasted any type of seafood other then tuna in a can It does smell very fishy and it does bother me. I can't eat it unless I put onions in it. And seasonings& bread crumbs to take the fishy taste away, When I see everyone else enjoying seafood, it seems like I'm missing out on something good but I can't get past the smell it makes me have nausea my grandson loves seafood though and I do cook him fish & lobster I'm glad he loves it I learned how to make it properly to encourage him to eat healthy ,
