were not in kkansas anymore toto lol that certainly looks more north than new mexico. glad to see you again and hope the newspace works well for you and that you have recovered because i am more than ready to have access to more quality video content hopefully more regularly . as always thanks for the videos!
Can we just appreciate how basically a minute long segue of building a railing was one of the coolest mini building projects I've ever seen? I would happily watch a 2 hour video of that whole process
I have to agree with that. I am an electronics enthusiast, a hobbyist woodworker, plumbing, electricity, but watching him do that railing really got me excited to finally start that last chapter for me, welding.
No you would not, you liked it because of the fun quick editing and funny pleasant noises like the rest of us. If you watched a uncut none edited version of him building it you'd *probably leave after max 15 minutes.
the build montages were TOP notch . But it does feel like there was so much left out. Would love to be able to admire it more and give him proper credit lol. Still love the montage tho
As a person who knows how to weld and do all kinds of things the sounds were really annoying as I know exactly what it should sound like, it was messing with my brain lol. Had to rewatch with sound off
Yes!, Scotty's back! Can't wait to see what amazing things and projects you make. I know I speak for everyone when I say we are SO happy and stoked that you're back. =)
Hey dude, speak for yourself, I'm not happy, I'm freaking ecstatic. So glad to have you back, Scotty! Hope your head keeps getting better and you keep enjoying making videos!
Dude, I literally feel guilty watching those build montages. The time, money, and skill it took you to build, film, and edit that... Then I just watched it over 10 minutes... for free, in bed. So glad you're back!
@@mattstone8878 Does he get that much money for very few videos he is doing recently....? I don't mean anything just to be clear. He is the nicest person ever. I'm genuinely curious where the money for all of this (machinery, housing, recent medical issues etc.) come from.
You look great Scotty, happy to see your health has returned! I feel like I could tell you were almost fully recovered just from the tone of the video. Great stuff.
Love the workshop, it's gonna be great. Hoping your head stays feeling better and the videos can continue. I liked the sound effects done but I felt like about halfway through the video the noises got a bit too much. Kinda got tired of hearing someone play in the utensil drawer you know? I think using some of the actual noises from the crafting with some edited noises would fit better.
I’m so so happy you’re back man! You were missed! The editing style is awesome, I’d just perhaps dial down the fake sound effects. Perhaps the sound of the real tools or some music would be less jarring. The video was awesome though!
That Railing looks awesome af. BUT please add (And USE!) a handrailing to the stairs. Thanks! BTW: All that editing and sound effects were a tini tiny bit too long for my taste. Still enjoyed them but also a tiny bit annoying after some time to be honest xD. But don't get rid of it!
So glad to have you back. This video is so impressive, just one project could have been a solid 15 minute video itself. I'm not a fan of all the sound effects, or at least not that many. Can't wait for more projects and I'm glad you're feeling more like yourself!
This was unexpected; i was a little skeptical, but DAMN did you ever pull this together. Congrants to everyone on the team, this place is amazing!!! I am hoping for big things to come in the future from this spot!
I got tired just watching the montage of you putting together that elaborate light fitting....... great to see you with so much energy and enthusiasm, you look high on life and I appreciate you sharing the tough times that have led to this point. Really looking forward to what's ahead with your high quality videos, thanks and all the best x
Nope, he was not... He was still here! And we all were watching every video, every update. We felt the situation and stayed here in line for him. This will now bring us some rewards (Scotty's creative videos)
Man, I just had to rave about the editing. It just flows so well and pulls you in while you're watching. No wasted time at all. Also, it's incredibly clear that you've probably forgotten more about using tools than I'll ever know.
I love the video!! Also it’s like the kid that discovered animations in power point for the first time, but with sound effects. 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I really appreciate the time you took to make the projects, edit the video and add all the sound effects, it must have taken ages and it's awesome, well done.
Scotty! I'm so thrilled to see you back! I just moved to a new house, and you've really inspired me with your projects around your shop. I'm definitely going to borrow some of those ideas for my own spaces.
Scotty, I dont follow many channels, but ever since you announced your injury I have always kept you in my thoughts, and prayers. I dont spend much time on UA-cam watching videos, but I always made a point to check in and see if you had posted any updates. This is amazing to see you back in your element, and making videos. You are a true inspiration, and I cant wait to see what you have planned! Nice shop!!
Glad to have you back! Please intersperse actual noises in between all the joke sounds though, this seemed more like someone playing with a soundboard for 12 minutes than a workshop build 😅
The style of the building montages was really fun! I especially like the inclusion of the PPE "beats" in the sequence, many other UA-cam makers seem almost ashamed to use PPE on camera. It's great to have you back!
The worst part of the ppe thing is that when you comment about the lack of PPE on some channels you get all the tough guys coming out saying stuff like, "Well it's actually safer to not wear a seat belt because blah blah". Nah, go pound rocks. Always wear PPE and always show it in videos because it sets an example for everyone else. Normalization is half the battle in getting things adopted.
I feel like halfway through you just said "I've run out of normal sound effects....screw it, what are the most ridiculous sound effects I can use?" I love it
Echoing so many other comments, naturally. So glad to see you are well along the road of healing. Your work has always been in such a unique and interesting niche, can't wait to see more of it.
The new editing style is very offputting. I don't mind the quick cut montage of putting things together but those sounds are awful. I see what you were going for but it's too... distracting? Not matching? Offputting in general I'd say. Though I am very glad to see you're feeling better and getting ready for videos again! Can't wait!
The work put into this video is heavily underestimated, the camera placement, all the right audio files & cutting / normalizing, it's crazy. So satisfying to watch & very clean!!! Glad you're back
So glad to hear your head is doing better 💙 Now you've got the health to back up all the motivation. That looked like so much work, well done. It's crazy how you need desks so you just build them 😄 You're so talented!
I’ve been a welder for 18 years. And I’ll never be able to strike an arc without thinking about the space laser sound effects you used. Thank you for many years of even happier thoughts when welding
That montage...I don't think people fully appreciate the time and effort that it takes to make a cool 60 second build montage. Holy crap...thanks for that effort.
The staircase montage must have taken so long to put together, and honestly? It's excellent, not least because of all the silly sound effects along the way. Brought a smile to my face! Congrats on the new shop, Scotty! :D E: actually, all the montages are class, but I commented before I'd watched the whole thing 😅

The excitement is back and it shows. Even if this was back in March, being able to see the urge to just make shit again is so refreshing. Not even a lingering hint of worry. It's good to see you rebounding like you have.
The sound effects for your montages we're to die for. The most entertaining video I've seen all week. So glad to see you are back and feeling better. Keep doing you.
I think the sound effect is little bit too much and anoyying.. Meanwhile, editor put a hell amount of time sound effect those clip. Try cinematic editing a bit
Seeing you smile with such joy is incredible! I'm so glad to see you back in full health and being able to have a proper space and do what you love. Can't wait to see your future projects!
This is by far the best montage video I have seen in quite a while. It also proves there is no such thing as too many sound effects. Well done and enjoy your new place.
Congrats on your recovery! I just had a decent concussion on monday and i'm dealing with the symptoms. Congrats on the new work space as well. I'm excited for all the new opportunities it brings!

Agreed 1000%. Sound effects were jarring. Tool sounds or music are much better. Great video and even greater to see him back though!
I agree 100%, the editing would still be easier and faster to do.
I'm pretty sure they were supposed to be exaggerated and funny for this video
I almost couldn't make it through with those sound effects.
