It's just the same thing, but instead of Electronic, you use a different setting and then you let some of the original sound pass through. Or you get yourself a proper VST that allows you to modify those settings yourself and play around with it until you get the sound you want.
There seems to be two types of vocoder sounds. I don't understand why the latter is more prominent. I have only found one plugin that does it convincingly.
Because, despite what the video is telling you, Daft Punk actually use talk boxes. Go find some video by a band called Zapp. you'll instantly hear that Daft Punk sound.

Carrier should be Internal, and finally, on Modulator settings, you should select the signal to Left, Right, or Left+Right. It means it sends stereo/mono signal (depending which Morphoder you dragged to track) to selected output. I personally always select just right or just left. After that, create new MIDI track and select it's output to "The Morphoder" audio track. Play some notes and you will achieve this result. Hope this helps. Sorry for bad English.

I don't get it... How can you have an output even when carrier, modulator etc is turned all the way down? I don't have any audio playing when I turn them down. Also no matter how I try to set it up it won't play my midi notes.I can only make use of the internal keyboard but that's it. I'm familiar with other vocoders and never had any issues but this one just doesn't work at all
it will only work if you route the sidechain properly, also if you're using ableton on a mac - make sure you're using vst3 and not au but if it still doesn't work even when you follow this video step by step, try tech support. I'm using this one all the time and it works without a hitch here.
