When I took the JNAT N4 exam last year, I still have 30min left on reading, but my phone alarmed. I have a work at 5pm that's why I usually set my alarm at 3pm. The proctor was kind enought to bring my bag to me and asked me to turn my cellphone off. I turned it off but after 15min, it alarmed again. My phone was broken, it restarted on its own. I was so ashamed and thought that it can disturb the other examinees, and I was afraid that the proctor might cancel my exam because of the issue. I still have 2 sets of reading questions with 10 points equivalent, so I just randomly shade my answer sheet, passed my paper and apologized. I was thinking back then that come what may, at least I tried my best. I enjoyed the reading part actually because I can recognize the kanji and understood the stories but regretted that I wasn't able to answer the last 2 parts and that could affect my overall score. The results came, and guess what, I got 8 points out of 10 on the last 2 parts. Tsamba-rimasu at its finest 😅 Lesson learned, make sure to turn off alarms before turning off the cp or much better if I will not bring my phone inside the exam room again 😅 So yeah, it is better to random shade answers than pass your exam papers with no answer at all.

I'm trying to take n3 exam in December... Do u think i will able to do it only in 3 months 😢
I don't know. It depends on how well you can absorb and recall information within a 3-month preparation. 😅 Thank you for commenting!
