Awesome!
Thanks for posting this
That was a great explanation and 5 of my minutes well spent! It seems so obvious about the root/5th now, but I didn't see it before this.
Hey, Jason! Thanks, glad to hear it was helpful. Yeah, it’s funny…somethings as simple as root & 5th found around the neck in different ways can open up some great sounds.
Wow, simple, straight to the point, and explained to where even I understood this!
Just back to playing after a long time. Thanks fir the video!
You're welcome! Welcome back🙌

Easy for you to say I only have 3 fingers.
Great video, thanks. What guitar is that you’re playing? It appears to have an unusually thin neck? I’m looking for one like that. Thank you!
Your'e welcome! Thanks for tuning in. The guitar is a @SuhrCustom, Modern Plus. I've been really happy with it. It is now my main guitar. It's really versatile, sounds great and plays really well.
Do pros even play power chords or do they evolve and play jazz and blues?
Yes, yes they do!
Im on the Paul Gilbert kinda train right know leaving the gallop and going to more sophisticated styles, But I will occasionaly rip with a maiden backing track or some other metal style but I have to say I am loving leaving it behind going into more complicated stuff.@@GreenHillsGuitarStudio
@@chud-ip3fh the Paul Gilbert train is a good one to ride.😅
