This guys is quicker and more efficient and skilled than most bmw Technicians. Love how quick he did everything. Simple and no faffing about. Tommylgarage did the armrest install... his video was like half an hour on just that one damn piece. This champ did it in 1 minute flat. Big ups

Cheat code.. the red start stop button can be installed by using a bit of blue tac... just press some blue tac onto the stock button and pull hard in one swift motion and it’ll pop off undamaged. Then just press in the red button. Negates the need to risk damaging the leather trim or soft touch trim if you don’t have extended leather. 👌🏻

Nice spec! The wheels are 20" - 10.5j on the rear and 9.5j on the front, tyres are 275/35 on the front and 285/35 on the rear!

That steering wheel would look so incredible with the blue band being the same oxford green paint colour instead. Would be a nice little touch to match the interior too. Looks good though man.

James Kingston 13 years as a technician for Audi, I know quite a few high quality interior fabricators. Most are based in the midland/Northwest area however but feel free to get in touch and I’ll forward you onto them. After watching your videos from the start, it’d be nice to give something back to you.
Where did you get the carbon fiber parts from? The armrest in particular
Thats the first time ive ever seen a bmw car ever taken half apart if that makes sense, it just amazes you how much detail goes into just one part of the car i couldnt do that i wouldnt know where to start, my dad has a similar one to you james but in black/blue colour, its a works one thats lent it to him, hes had trouble with the engine since hes had it and said its a German made piece of crap lol
You should get sponsorship on a car build James people are absolutely smashing UA-cam doing it. Watch the Goonsquad they are doing incredible. You might not be a mechanic but with all the help you get in the comment box you could do it.

Remember I told you I had a guy in Germany that can do your carbon? Well he makes all Paddle Shifters stuff lol so in a way you took my advise. He mass produce for them

Just picked my M4 Comp yesterday. What settings you running on your M buttons?
Yesss congrats!! M1 is my "slidey" mode - traction off, sport+ on the throttle/suspension and comfort for the steering. M2 is my daily so MDM on, sport+ on the throttle (for the burbles) and comfort for the suspension/steering wheel :)

James Kingston mate, my last 430 was a nightmare for that. I didn’t realise upgrading would have fixed the issue!
Yeah I dealt with it for ages on the M4 and then a simple update (by the dealer) fixed it all. It's always gonna be a bit sluggish over bluetooth unfortunately but it fixed a lot of the issues! I still need to get it done on my M3 and will do soon

the m stitching really clashes with the car/interior. the rest looks good.
Nice car. Really shocked how cheaply BMW is put together these days. They used to be a nightmare to work on. Now it’s just plastic snaps, a couple screws and sticky tape like everything else.

@@jameskingston I guess that's about it. Visually looks a lot better imo. Used ones on ebay go for about 800£ Not sure about m3/m4 tho. M5 should have it, but obviously a different design.
just my opinion: all mods are awesome, but why not alcantara sport seats? to me, that would have made the car better connected, nice and sporty. anyway it's for him to like, gg
