How do I go from Watch The World Burn to Fashionably Late to Self Destruct Personality to Last Resort Reimagined to Game Over and manage to thoroughly enjoy each one? How do I like everything he did with ETF? Heck, I found out the other day (thanks someinamillion!) that he wrote and produced an entire album for another band so I went and binged it and, surprise, I liked that too. I get it-----he can music-----still, it's difficult for even me to fathom the level at which I connect with it.

You should react to “asshole” by them featuring Andy Biersack. I think it was supposed to be on this album because it says “fashionably late” in the chorus a lot.
People criticize stuff like I'm Not A Vampire or this or whatever for being like "too pop" or whatever... but man, it sounds good. It's fun. Honestly, my favorite songs by them or really most artists tend to be the "pop" ones. I also sometimes like pop... so... Meh. Music can be a lot of things to a lot of people. It can really connect on a deeper level. Some people swear a certain song saved their life during the darkest time. But at the end of the day? It's also entertainment. I think criticizing any of it for just being fun is kinda dumb. Sort of like the Fast & Furious movies or whatever. Dumb, "turn your brain off" fun is still fun. I mean, should also know the difference between objective quality sand subjective enjoyment to some extent. I'm not saying those movies are flawless masterpieces, and FIR or anyone else's most popular song(s) aren't necessarily their best... but just let people enjoy what they enjoy if it's legal entertainment where nobody gets hurt unless they consented.
