I may be wrong, but I thought that he didn't ever go to prison but instead went to a rehab centre? I know he has dealt with a ton of addiction stuff, and that's why I resonate with him so much, but I never knew he went to prison for it.
Ronnie, has to be one of the smartest musical artist on the face of this earth! Not just that but he is also a FUCKING lyrical genius along with his AMAZING vocals! I hate to sound like a fan boy but....I guess I'm a fan boy 😂😂😂
Even from a psychological viewpoint these 2 songs are a masterpiece. The original really feels like "I know i'm not a good person, i'm a vampire, i'm a zombie, i'm going to hell and i'm dragging people with me. Screw it, this is the only way i know how to deal now so i'm just gonna ride this wave in a crazy life." And then the revamped version is the hindsight after recovery like "This person is lost, this person is in pain, this person is afraid. Afraid of his bad life, but equally afraid of leaving it because he doesn't even comprehend how there can be any happiness on the other side. He is a prisoner of his own darkest side and that is a sad, tragic thing to see." And without changing a single word Ronnie has captured both perspectives beautifully.
In the revamped version when he says ''Hi my name is Roonie, I'm an addict'' it just hits so much harder on an emotionel level than in the original version. very powerful!
Ronnie was the original vocalist for Escape the Fate before he went to prison. The band replaced him during his sentence and he formed Falling in Reverse when he was released
This entire 'falling in reverse' reimagining cycle that is going on really feels like them going from " lol i am so emo and depressed" to actually fighting against real depression and metal health through music.gaining a lot of respect from me the more i listen.
I've often said that the original versions of the songs reflect how we handled our emotions back them outwardly. And rhat the remained versions reflect how we actually felt/feel inside but were too immature to express.
The lead guitarist is Jacki Vincent, Derek is the other guitarist….RIP DEREK ❤️ The entirety of the video was at Ronnie and Sarayas mansion… Ronnie truly is a musical genius
If you hear Ronnie talk about the original it's kinda funny because he actually makes fun of the way he sang back then and jokingly says things along the lines of not knowing why people would listen to it. Whatever he believes though, I think he was a good vocalist and always just seems to get better.
@@RoxxyFly Yeh totally agree, when he started escape the fate he/they were one of the first and leading ones that kinda started that subgenre and the rest tried to copy, but they never got Ronnies sound. And to this day he stays ahead of the others.

And to quote Ronnie from his song tragic magic "Magically I turned tragedy Into melodies Sold for catchy beats It comes so naturally So smooth and casually That's why they call me king Of the music scene"
The drug in me is you/reimagined will blow you guys away I personally like it more than this amazing video. This video is like a movie and loved the reaction
I will say I didn't find FIR until Popular Monster and fell in love immediately. I started working my way backwards through their discography and I was very hesitant to listen to the way back when stuff. I had this idea that I wouldn't like it and it would *mar* how I felt about them now. I was so wrong. 😂 I acknowledge that the newer songs are complete masterpieces but I have also fallen in love with just about everything they've done from the beginning. Off the top of my head there are maybe 3 songs that I skip over when they come up. Everything else, I know every word, every note, and every beat and love it all. I'm curious to know if, since making this video, the original has been stuck in your head. Something that happens ONLY with Ronnie's music, and I have zero explanation as to how, is that the songs manage to get better and better the more I listen to them. Even if some of the old stuff didn't grip me immediately, a few times of coming up on my playlist and I'm totally hooked.
You guys should also try out some songs from Ronnie's first band, escape the fate, either "Situations", or "not good enough for truth in cliche" both amazing songs but also amazing to see the first edition of Ronnie from like 06-07!
The band grew up in the pop punk/post hardcore scene and, at the time, they just wanted to be the kings of that scene but as time went on and the members started maturing and Ronnie wanted to push himself, you have what FIR is today. All of it is good if you're a pop punk kid like me, but the new stuff is obviously leagues above anything else.
Coming back to watch this after watching more recent videos of yours and hearing you talk about your future merch, and knowing you guys manifested it makes me so happy ❤️
i absolutely love your journey into FIR and Ronnie its the best reaction on youtube by far! I cant wait until the drug in me is you double feature to drug in me is re imagined
Alright so this has to be said : you guys mentioned American idol and Simon cowell. You brought this on yourselves. You now HAVE to do the music video for “Just Like You” I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s a very fun song, and more of a middle point to Falling In Reverse since you’ve seen both early and present day versions. TRUST ME on this one.
"I think it's gonna get heavy" Oh it's gonna get heavy alright, but not in the way you think. I actually cried to this song the first time I hear it. That fucking "So god bless all of you nooow! 'Cause I'm going straight to he-e-eeell!" is *sooo* good!
This is beautiful....at the same time it is "ugly" in parts in the best freaking way possible. I have heard a couple of songs but am listening to these revamped songs for the first time I have goosebumps all over and I don't get them often. Just a few songs in and I am already a huge fan. Awesome reaction!
I watched every reaction to the revamped Version I could find and believe me, there are a ton of them. But you two nailed it. Your emotions are so real. Love it!
I just found your channel from Ronnie reacting to your reaction of Voices In My Head. This was an amazing reaction! I had forgotten just how f'ing incredible the Revamped version was!
the original song is how i felt in highschool/college as a young kid thinking my pain/mistakes were funny and cool. The remaked is me at 30 realizing how much I fucked up in life and trying desperately to fix my mistakes for my children.
I say the same thing al the time. Especially about his last resort remake. When we are young we cope with anger and humor. When we get older we are just defeated and crying for help. But it was a cry for help the whole time.
Great Reaction Guys loved the way you just feel it so intense. When i first time heard Revamped i couldn't move i just stared at the vid and got goosebumps all over my body. This man is a musical Genius. Period
I love the original, but this one just hits different. I honestly got goosebumps the first time I heard the revamped version. It's so hauntingly beautiful. And honestly I love the revamped version better.
Ronnies old stuff will always have a special place in my heart because I basically heard him the first time when I was starting going through my teenage emo phase haha! But yes, they have all improved so so much.
"we get it, you can music" 😅 awesome channel guys! I only discovered you earlier this evening, love your banter with one another! And also love FIR so perfect combo 😁 can't wait til you do "The drug in me is you + reimagined" 😊
Ronnie writes all the lyrics & music for all the songs... I know some of the band members have changed over the yrs, one of guitarist actually passed away almost 2 yrs ago, he was w him from the start of FIR, actually picked him up from prison.... RIP Derek Jones.... and drummers switched a few times, one in Zombifide is new one, in "Drugs", is drummer from band Black Veil Brides... one these days I definitely need to check out on ur own or reacting to it.. his very first song w Escape the Fate- "Not Good Enough For Truth in Cliche"... it was like 15 yrs ago.. great reaction action need to do the same w "Drug in Me is You"... next
Woww, I'm just finding you two! I LOVE your reaction. Isn't it amazing to watch the evolution of the musicians and to hear the remastered version. I see you've done some others, so I'm def heading over to watch those too.
That was a very entertaining reaction. I never knew who Ronnie Radke was until today and I hope beyond hope that he continues to make this kind of music. He and his band...what can I say? Genius.
just saw these guys on the 29th of January and they started their set with this song and everyone sang every word but especially the Hi, Ronnie! part......go see them live y'all!!! I can't wait to see ya react to more!
The level of emotion and feeling the Revamped version gives is to much for its own. Good to quote you guys, "We get it Ronnie you can music." Wow just uber talent
Absolutely love Ronnie's voice. Keen for the Drug In Me Is You (both versions) and also Ice Nine Kills put out some fantastic music. If you want some music that hits home; check out Citizen Soldier. Their music is sensational!
Jacky Vincent, the one who did the solo in the first song is alive and left the band somewhere in 2015/2016. The other guitarist in the music video, Derek Jones has sadly died.
I’m binging your FIR playlist & I will probably do it again sooner rather than later. I was just watching your reaction to Ronnie’s reaction of your “Voices In My Head” reaction & I agree with him. You guys are so much fun to watch. You really bring the energy & give honest, genuine, & sometimes vulnerable, reactions & analysis. It’s so much fun to see others reacting to Ronnie’s music in the same way I feel I do. The growth, talent & ability to master music the way he does is absolutely amazing to hear. I honestly don’t know of another artist who has the chops, or the balls, to revamp/reimagine their earlier material. You guys were the ones who let me tag along through this rabbit hole & I will always come to you for anything FIR.
Finally! Been waiting for this reaction and you guys did not disappoint! For a suggestion, I’d say Fair to Midland, Dance of the Manatee. Was one of their main stream songs. If you guys enjoy, I can easy suggest others by this band. Keep up the good work!
I love your guys channel. Your reactions are priceless. They mirror the way I feel when I listen to this music as well. Keep up the great work guys. Spread this awesome music far and wide! 💪
I love your reactions! Everything Ronnie does is gold but when it comes to his videos, I have no words, you literally have to watch them over and over to catch all the little things you missed the first time, popular monster at the end when the body hits the floor so does the beat, revamped at the end when the lightning strikes, so many things but either way keep it guys! I love how much you love FIR, welcome to family lol! As far as a new song/band to react to I’d suggest Eskimo callboy, hypa hypa! Absolute banger!
Love your guys reaction so much. And few facts yes that's Ronnie's real life girlfriend. Saraya AKA Paige from WWE. Plus the guitarist in the first video doing the solo. That's not the one who passed. Was the other one Derek Jones.
I’ve spent the whole evening with you reacting to FiR, guys. I guess I wouldn’t sleep tonight if there was more reactions 🥴 You’re awesome. You make me laugh 😁 Waiting for more! Sending love from POLAND! 💗
I'm in love with this revamped version it's so emocional, and i love u guys reacting that. U need react The Drug In Me Is the original and the new version too ♥
what exactly is he singing in the revamped version ? Sorry I am not a native english speaker and I can't completly figure out what exactly he sings in this part.
Just watched yalls last resort reaction. I had to dig to find this one bc yalls reactions are so damn genuine... This song I just found 2 days ago. It immediately made me cry. It's beautiful... the video. The voice the emotion... Man... chills everytime
Your comment about wishing you could wipe it from memory so you could experience it for the first time again is the entire reason I watch reaction channels, so I can enjoy the reactors first time vicariously through them, always with a huge grin knowing whats coming and how its going to blow their minds, just like it did mine the first time I experienced it
I personally love every single song ronnie has ever done even the escape the fate days, i love playing all 4 falling in rervese albums in my long car rides, going from oldest to newest. Singing every word to every song ive never loved a band as much as i have falling in reverse.
Loved that reaction, guys 🔥 It might be something not too heavy, but I would love to see you react to some Imminence! Maybe Temptation, Heaven In Hiding and Chasing Shadows & Alleviate (last two are in one vid) Besides that they also have acoustic reimaginations of some of their songs, which are fantastic 🖤
Love you guys , your emotions through this video show we are not the only ones that felt this version . Raw and pure , its amazing to have these emotions . 🔥🔥🔥
I remember seeing that, when he tried to be sneaky and preform as "goodbye graceful" at a secret show and the crowd went "HI RONNIE!" The look on his face was priceless I thought he was gonna cry 😊
I feel like the lyrics true intentions were meant to be taken as the revamped version. He was just young when he took these lyrics and threw them with a rock beat, but it was always meant to be interpreted as this emotionally.
There are adverts you can't remember by the time your show ends if it was in the first break, and ads that you can remember 20 years later. Some music videos are the same. Thriller, I'd do anything for love - meatloaf, Tribute - Tenacious D after they played it 7 billion times on Kerrang TV and others of course. This is one that I can see sticking in my memory for years as I every part of this is brilliant from lyrics, story telling, arrangement, vocals, direction and video production. All involved hit the ball out the park.
Nice reaction! The revamped version has added lyrics to it. You can hear them at 22:12 and 25:28 .Otherwise they are the same. Yes the woman in the video is Ronnie's girlfriend Paige. She is from WWE.
Ronnie is so fucking dramatic and I love it saw Falling in Reverse live as an opening act back in 2018 at my first ever concert and that man has a fucking stage presence
Just love it when the old and new are in the same video. Your reaction was a lot like my own thoughts so it was a blast to watch. I hope to find the same method for The drug in me is you and the drug in me is reimagined.
You guys need to do like hour long reactions. I watch almost every reaction that catches my attention, I'm a truck driver and I rewatch a lot of your videos. But need more lengthy ones 😂. I need to catch your live feeds. I keep missing them.
I wish i could here it again for the first time. 😢 this brought me tears in my eyes. Watching reactions kinda bring back these feelings again, but it s not the original slap on the face it was. And actually, most of FIR songs slap me as strong as this one, but never in the same fashion. This is pure genius
15:02 "Alright guys, I'm ready!"
The Rest of Us: He ain't ready. 😂
haha so funny to find this comment. thats what i thought aswell.. it made me laugh 😂

best thing to happen tbh
He was so good in escape the fate. Some of my fav songs but falling in reverse he took it to another level.
He formed FIR while he was "in" prison. And wrote this song and others while he was there.
I think he formed them while still in prison. Think he says the band was originally called behind these walls or something

It is the the most 100% the perfect piece of music that has ever existed. I need more.
I’ve spent the whole evening with you reacting to FiR, guys. I guess I wouldn’t sleep tonight if there was more reactions 🥴 You’re awesome. You make me laugh 😁 Waiting for more!
Sending love from POLAND! 💗
Thank you for the love and support. Can't wait to do more fir.
love your guys channel been going through alot of your reactions you guys are dope!
I'm in love with this revamped version it's so emocional, and i love u guys reacting that. U need react The Drug In Me Is the original and the new version too ♥
I love the play on black Sabbath. He changed it from talking about a band to referring to it as an event of his birth. Amazing play on words
what exactly is he singing in the revamped version ? Sorry I am not a native english speaker and I can't completly figure out what exactly he sings in this part.
I love the reimagined version so much I walked down the isle to it at my wedding last year. Hauntingly beautiful
Just watched yalls last resort reaction. I had to dig to find this one bc yalls reactions are so damn genuine...
This song I just found 2 days ago. It immediately made me cry. It's beautiful... the video. The voice the emotion...
Man... chills everytime
Your comment about wishing you could wipe it from memory so you could experience it for the first time again is the entire reason I watch reaction channels, so I can enjoy the reactors first time vicariously through them, always with a huge grin knowing whats coming and how its going to blow their minds, just like it did mine the first time I experienced it
Listen to " The drug in me is you- reimagined"!!!!!! It will also blow your head apart!! Ronnie deserves a Grammy!!! Period!!!
I personally love every single song ronnie has ever done even the escape the fate days, i love playing all 4 falling in rervese albums in my long car rides, going from oldest to newest. Singing every word to every song ive never loved a band as much as i have falling in reverse.
Loved that reaction, guys 🔥
It might be something not too heavy, but I would love to see you react to some Imminence! Maybe Temptation, Heaven In Hiding and Chasing Shadows & Alleviate (last two are in one vid)
Besides that they also have acoustic reimaginations of some of their songs, which are fantastic 🖤
i LOVE your guys channel, i watch every video! i clicked so fast lol
Love you guys , your emotions through this video show we are not the only ones that felt this version . Raw and pure , its amazing to have these emotions . 🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact this song was the first song he performed since being released from prison
I seriously love your reactions so much! You guys are so freaking entertaining!
I really enjoy watching you two discover these videos. I get goosebumps from this song and seeing how much it affects you does that too! Nice!!
Her name is Saraya. Paige was just a stage name
This is awesome! You guys make this reaction so worth watching!!! Love you both and keep up the great fun reactions
Do The Drug in Me is You and the reimagined next 🙏🏻
You guys need to do like hour long reactions. I watch almost every reaction that catches my attention, I'm a truck driver and I rewatch a lot of your videos. But need more lengthy ones 😂. I need to catch your live feeds. I keep missing them.
Ronnie wasn't starting out, he's been here since like 2004 with Escape The Fate, he just got out of prision straigh to the studio.
I wish i could here it again for the first time. 😢 this brought me tears in my eyes. Watching reactions kinda bring back these feelings again, but it s not the original slap on the face it was. And actually, most of FIR songs slap me as strong as this one, but never in the same fashion. This is pure genius
Falling in reverse would definitely make rehab fun !
