Take a look at the power and torque curves if you don’t agree with people who say you should be shifting sooner...you’re losing a lot of acceleration the way you’re riding, but that’s ok if you don’t mind taking your time getting to Vmax
not to mention the stress on the valve train from the higher speed at lower gears

im pretty convident you're right i did 260, with the girlfriend on the back and a 2 helmet case (15kilo) and even then it had more to come
Learn to shift properly. Kinda like you were unsure when to shift.
