    Just imagine having one of these and being able to play drums, washboards, bass, trumpet, saxophones, clarinet, trombone, guitar and harmonica well, a person could create a mega version of tunes like this. What you did there was cool, very well done and all with just one acoustic. I have to get a loop pedal now, but I think I'll pass on learning most of those instruments and stick to guitar but how cool would it be to create a complete horn section all by oneself.

    I just watched this after buying my RC30.... Replicated it so simply... yet has a really awesome full sound. I'm gonna steal this arrangement ;) (but adding in vocals too)
    Really nice guitar licks too. Shame I cant get my guitar slap sounding as strong... might be my pickup in the guitar?... anyway loved it

    This is why I like multi-track loop pedals, like the ditto X4. Put the percussion loop and the rhythm loops on separate tracks, so that when you stop the rhythm for a chorus or other change, the percussion doesn't have to stop.
    Not to take away from this guys talent... as this entire composition is phenomenal. I'd love to hear him using a different loop pedal, though.

    • @davidbrucemusicvideo
      @davidbrucemusicvideo 8 років тому

      Exactly. As a full time professional looping artist, I was using multiple looping pedals starting back in 2008, and then I started using pedals like the RC50 and Boomerang lll, and everything changed and went nuts from there. When I began looping in 2000, I think it was, I was using the first version of the Boomerang, but it got hissy after a few tracks were added to the loop.
      Good job, Toby, but I would've loved to see a bit more emotion and fire! Will look at your other videos to see your other looping stuffffff! 🙂

    • @PhilJakes
      @PhilJakes 8 років тому

      +Douglas Boswell very true...but there are 2 channels on this pedal though...he could have easily put the perc on loop 1 and the verse stuff on loop 2.

    I actually have the RC2 (the smallest and cheaper one, I guess) and certainly you can do this! :) In fact, I use it to loop the guitar, my voice, choruses, percusion, etc) the only thing you have not in this pedal it's the "reverse" thing

    Excellent Transitions from loop to no loop. Taylor sounds great! Good jamming...
    Drum beat a little too out front in my opinion...
    When I did loops live I had to be really careful on synching, and loudness factor of layers.
    I'd say though you've dialed this in quite well. Very Pleasant sound. Good for the Dinner Club crowd. Background music.
