I think this video shows Ed's abilities as a musician. A lot of his songs are the typical 4 chord pop stuff but his lyrics, ability with a loop pedal etc, are where his strengths lie. It's like that phrase, something like "it's not about the tools but who uses them."
He was actually showcasing his ed Sheeran designed Looper pedals that are new on the block
Which is why his live looping performances are far better/more entertaining than his studio songs.
Finally. New pedal after new pedal coming out and NOBODY kicked loopers into high gear. Thanks for innovating.
I love how effortless he makes his looping. There are some amazing loop artists out there but few do it so seamlessly as Ed. Amazing to watch
