    I forgot to add the Vent Ending without the bucket, so I made another video just with that and also with an Elden Ring easter egg that is in the same area ua-cam.com/video/FYA_bqPFqFQ/v-deo.html
    Notes:
    • About the Baby Game / Art Ending, I made another video where you can see me going through all 4 hours of pure madness: ua-cam.com/video/kxViGJl3Nzg/v-deo.html
    • Minecraft and Portal sections from the 2013 version were replaced in the Ultra Deluxe by Firewatch and Rocket League.
    • The Serious Room Ending from the 2013 version appears to have been removed from the Ultra Deluxe. Although we can see it from afar at 2:37:58 and in a photograph at 2:35:55
    • The Facepunch texture appears to also be removed. Both The Serious Room and the Facepunch texture swamp required access to the console command line in the 2013 version.

    It's not the game's main goal, but i love how incredibly creepy this game can be.
    The Skip Button ending is of course a big one, but the original version's office hallways at the end of the Games ending also greatly creeps me out.
    Then there's the other Stanley you can see walking close by your office.
    Oh, and the Narrator saying someone's following you.
    The game is mostly silly and it just makes these stand out for me even more.

      Wait, so he IS talking about Steam? I didn't know that! I had just thought that Pressurized Gas was an actual website in the same vein as like Rotten Tomatoes or some shit like that. I sure as hell had the wacky site name down, that's for sure. I probably should have known from the layout of the review that drove the narrator insane that it was in fact Steam. Now the question is, why censor Steam's existence on consoles? I mean, I can understand why Playstation and Nintendo would want to censor it, but why Xbox? It's not like they're competing in the PC market right now anyways right?

    "And Stanley was happy." I've always thought that the original "Freedom" ending is, strangely, the most satisfying one. Maybe mostly because of the music, and of these final, simple, peaceful words : "And Stanley was happy."

    • @lukegavin124
      @lukegavin124 2 роки тому +58

      It makes you wonder if blindly following instructions is actually the best way to go through life.
      I mean obviously not but it's still kind of the message the game wants to portray. After all, the narrator does have a happy ending in mind for stanley, one that he directly negates and interferes with when he goes off script, often leading to unfortunate consequences

    • @ludovicdisson3668
      @ludovicdisson3668 2 роки тому +45

      @@lukegavin124 I don't think the message behind TSP is that deep, honestly. TSP is mostly meant as a satire against some stupid or weird things in video games, like the fact that a player character can miraculously guess the combination of a safe, or that if the player appears to be lost, the game will attempt to put them back on the right track (the adventure line, which I believe is a direct reference to Fable 2 and 3)
      I think the goal of the freedom ending, and the entire game, is to show the irony that, in some games, like some open-world RPGs where the player is supposed to have absolute freedom, (looking at you The Elder Scrolls) it's only possible to progress through the game and to reach the best ending by following a very specific and straightforward path, thus negating the whole freedom aspect of the game.
      Now, if you want to apply that morale to real life, I guess it all depends on your personal beliefs about God and free will.

    • @AlwaysTuesday

      Thing about it though? That's also the last line in the opening cutscene. The freedom ending is most brilliant to me because of the irony, like literally the narrator says "no longer would anyone tell him where to go, what to do, or how to feel"
      and then: "Stanley stepped through the open door" "Stanley felt the cool breeze upon his skin" deadass the game is almost making fun of you, neverMIND the fact that the freedom ending is achieved by just going along with what the narrator says anyway. One of the greatest scenes in fiction period.

    I have a theory, that the man that speaks on the tape recorder in the bucket version of the vent ending IS the bucket.
    The bucket vent ending has a guy speaking about the buckets power. I think the bucket was actually normal and he was crazy. And gambhorra’ta turned him into a monster and transferred his soul into the bucket, because he stole something from gambhorra’ta (as the bucket said in the bucket version of the out of map ending) and in the bucket out of map ending the bucket turns into a monster and gets killed by Stanley. And the voice the narrator voice for the bucket sound like the bucket is crazy just like the guy on the tape recorder. My theory is the man on the tape recorder is the bucket. Tell me what you think.

    Plus, I actually discovered some secrets that I somehow never discovered in the game itself, like the fern (I always walked past it a little too fast) or the other elevator in the boss's room (which I didn't even know existed). - a computer
    - broom closet
    - the most serious table in history (very serious indeed)
    - mannequin waifu
    - Adventure Line™
    - fern.
    I imagine Narry gathering them all together in that cellar and having a tea party with them, like a little girl with her toys, venting to them about his barely concealed jealousy for Bucket and Stanley. "It should've been a one-time gag, I only allowed it because he said that it was just some friendly bucket he knows from college, and I trusted him! I put my trust in him because it never even _occured_ to me to doubt the strenght of our relationship, and now look where we are! Computer, have you been on the AO3 website recently? There are even _fanfics_ about them now, gosh, this is outrageous! That he would choose some blasted bucket over me, after I've given him the best years of my life - oh no-no-no-no, never. If he chose to replace me with an inanimate object, then so will I. Goodbye Stanley, it was horrible knowing you! Ha!
