If Kevan Brighting says anything, it is automatically part of the Stanly Parable lore as far as I'm concerned.

It's weird how Kevan manages to be so irritatingly condescending and also so very creepy whilst using the exact same tone of voice.
22 Ducks And Half A Sandwich I find it fascinating, like a psychopath slowly carving away as his victims are painfully aware.

Let people believe what they want to believe.
22 Ducks And Half A Sandwich and charming and friendly too. he's perfect
It really shines in the Explosion Ending too, he quite literally goes all-out in his less than condescending and more disrespectful tone, really goes to show how well-suited for this role he was
The fact Jack is always starring at an empty void is genius. The game had Stanley pressing buttons for no real reason like a video game player would while Jack watches nothing for no real reason.
That was deep.
jack too have a choice different from stanley how either is controlled by the player or the narrator
Holy shit I never noticed it but now that you pointed it out its written so well.
@@MarcosAlexandre-no3qx wasnt jack controlled by the script and the narrator
So, in essence, we are Jack, watching this pointless video because the Narrator is in charge, just like we are also Stanley, pushing buttons and playing a pointless game. But it's so hard to resist Kevan Brighting! One can't help but fall captive to his magical narrative skills! 😂
Kevan Brighting is a really good sport for doing all these voice overs for Stanley Parable-inspired works, fan films or otherwise.
kilimenjiro Yeah, I know! Most voice actors don't do that type of thing
That’s so cool of him
fan films,animations,even player made endings,he's a legend!
His voice of PAIN =)
it's a good thing too, they wouldn't feel right without him
1:47 I love that the Narrator resorts to the old storytelling technique of having a guy with a gun burst in when he gets writer’s block.

Jack: Chaotic Neutral

honestly id like to think that jacks story happened like AGESSS before stanley's did, as if jack was some type of test run or like a writer's beginning y'know. but thats just personally.
that would explain why the narrator was so much more plain in telling jack the reality of his situation

Guys, also check out David Graham then (intro narration & Wise Old Elf from Ben & Holly): same kind of warm, delicious Brittish bariton. These voices are world heritage stuff...
I like how this adapts the entire “The player is doing exactly what Stanley is doing” thing, with jack constantly staring into nothing.
I really love the Narrator VA,he's very involved with the community,he participates in player made endings, fan animations and now a live action?good on him!

I like to think Jack is one of Stanley’s co-workers.
(Read this with The Narator's voice)
Stanley watched this short movie, with an impression of Déjà-Vu. He was pretty sure he already saw this somewhere else, but he couldn't tell where.
I've heard him say enough things that my brain knows exactly where to pause, what inflections to use, and where the emphasis goes. Truly an easy statement to read in his voice.
@@spark_two also that there would be an added 'quite' between couldnt and tell
Stanley decided to pause. He was evidently unimpressed by the film on its own, electing instead to scroll through the comments. Really, Stanley? Have you no appreciation for art? Is this your life now? I'm disappointed.
05:31 It's cool that they implemented the easter egg with an NPC that looks just like Stanley

I absolutely love this video. It somehow captured the intelligence and wit of the Stanley Parable without incorporating any of the story of it. It is so interesting how the story shifts from being comedic to almost creepy in an existential sense at the end.
Just hearing the Narrator swearing at around 3:40 is honestly the best thing to me.

I actually drew a character based on the narrator, except female and way more evil. And also (kind of?) a pyromaniac? That line was hers. Any name suggestions?

Kevan could literally narrate an entire movie, it'd be perfect!
Aside from that, this was a really well done production, the camerawork, lighting, sets and sound design were all high quality, plus Tristan did a great job.
Also, I love the detail of the door closing behind him at 2:29, just like in the game.

No, no, no, viewer, you simply don't understand. Did you like the video? Yes, well, of course you did, so you clicked the thumbs up. Did you not like the video? Why, then, click the little down thumb. You have made a choice, viewer...or, wait, have you? Are you sure that it was your choice? Why, your life has been informed by all the little snippets of information you have consumed and gleaned, most of which were entirely out of your control, but no...no, you say, not my likes and dislikes, why those are MY personal tastes, my preferences, my...DESIRES...but don't you see? You were born a clean sheet of paper, scribbled on by time, and it has left you scarred and horribly blackened, and there is still room on the page...yes, and the next ink drop leads you to THIS very moment, THIS moment that you click or don't click a little thumb, and a new hashmark is made. Keep it up, viewer, you'll get to the end soon enough.
Totally nailed it XD
nice one
"But what if i ignore it?"
"What if i dont click ether?"
"what if i just carry on?"
"will i just get away with it? will the narrator attempt to turn me back on course?"
"oh wait.. its my choice.."

I feel like there is different timelines for each jack like the jack that fell out of the building did fall out and the jack that got shot did get shot. There is also the one that jumps out and the narrator says "thats not possible Jack was happy" and of course the narrator says "you always do this it's selfish" hinting that this all happened before foreshadowing the end amazing video with great spacing I look forward to seeing this channel grow

I really loved this short film. Absolutely amazing. It would be interesting if this was like Narrator's backstory in a way. Ultra Deluxe came out and at one point he was considering of retiring Stanley, whether that would be killing him or just, retiring him. He mentioned that he used to make decisions, he was passionate in his works. He then said he became lazy, and made Stanley to think for him. He then thought he was just lonely, and just needed a companion. What if he truly quit making decisions because he ended up becoming a fucking villain and was arrogant. Maybe he wanted to try something similar to this, but less "enslaving an innocent worker".
Yeah, it's dumb as hell. However it could work in SOME way.
