This man really knows how to make music that touches your feelings. I love Titanium, but the first time I heard "Let's Love" I thought David had flown into the past and picked up a cassette tape from my desk and brought it to the future. Because I instantly go to the past every time I hear this song. ❤❤
It's quite funny, at the start of covid I believe Guetta touched the DAW for the first time himself, it was cool to see him experiment. He has a really good taste in music, and knows what ghost producers to get to produce for him. That's how he's gotten so big as he has been.
I don't think he is using ghost producers, maybe he is not uploading that many videos of how he is making his tracks but this could be just because he don't want or have the time to do it.
@@XhivaMusic he definitely has been using ghost producers for a long time. It's definitely his vision, just not his production. And there's no shame to that!
I doubt that, maybe he has sound engineers that create sounds for him sure but I garentee he does all the producing/composition and most of the mixing and will probably have some mix and master it professionally

Absolutely enjoyed this video! You kinda gave it away without giving it away through the production of the rendition of "Im Good". Only thing I didnt think to consider was looking at music that were topping charts and using those melodies / riffs / chords to engage the listener on something "fresh".
Great tutorial covering all elements of his productions, What Guetta does works however many may dislike it he has created his name as his product, if he was to release a remix of Mr blobbly or roland rat it would still be a hit.
I really like David Guetta. He is a friendly and open-minded person, unlike the anonymous trolls that express their personal misery by h*ting on him on the internet.
Personally not a big fan of his music in particular, but it's easy to see the brilliance of it. I think the tips also apply in the ecosystems of other, smaller subgenres -- for example the most prolific Psy or Electroswing producers still got their success using similar strategies.
The final drop is cool, but I would have added a spectral waveform with fm or rm to it as 0 semitones and plus 19 to layer onto the sawtooth for extra grit/thickness. Still sounds great though! Bravo!!
I dislike that he touched Better Off Alone, What Is Love, and Blue. I’m all for a good homage/remix/remaster, but in each case he just took a classic and made it trashy pop-dance.
David Guetta blew up because a man named Joachim Garraud produced a record called "Love Is Gone" in 2006. The record below up and then it forced Garraud to continue writing more records for him. The rest of the story is history with a team of producers writing for the Guetta Brand.

I don't think hardly anyone goes big just because they are genius. There's simply so much saturation that it's pretty much random who makes the breakthrough and who not, and an average listener loves their music for completely different reasons than the artists themselves or anyone educated in the field. Sure, some people are innovative and revolutionize genres and raise to popularity due to that, but still, often the guys who do that are not the ones who were the real pioneers. It's normal than when someone invents something new, they are left in the margin due to being too experimental. Some years later when the time is right, someone gets influenced by them and makes the breakthrough. This has happened in practically every genre from trance to hardcore and dubstep. Becoming a top-10 artist requires always lots of luck, too, and being in the right place at the right time.

I am not planning to switch my DAW any time soon but you should be able to translate my techniques into Logic Pro if you’re comfortable with using it
@EDMTips Is it possible for you to make the midi files in your projects available for non-Ableton users?
Yes. When youre saving midi file it goes by .midi like .mp3, .jpg, exc.. so the midi file has nothing to do with abletone users only.
The video is really a big help for complete noobs like me. What is the reason that you do effects on a separate track instead of directly on the track with the sample?
More control!
Yes, what avmxkppp said :) More control 👍🏻
I guess 0, because i was looking for technical stuff like the reverse clap. 😮
Thanks for the feedback! Check out my video on how to make future rave on technical tips like this one :)

Have u got FL Studio version on how to do this?
I don't use FL Studio but you should be able to translate those techniques into your DAW
@EDTips having trouble downloading the project?
Sorry to hear that. I recommend checking your spam folder, it might have ended up there by mistake. If it's not there, please email team@edmtips.com and we'll sort it out for you.
@@EDMTips You misunderstood my question, that's ok. I already got it by email, but it won't let me download it from there! It gets stuck on the unzip program then it says reload and try again, then I get a bit further but that's when it stops! Got any ideas as to what I should try now? Thanks btw for the quick reply!
