Huge fan of the polished and impressive video accompanying this - it is a highly relatable and timeless story ... even though at tolimes I've been both hero and villain of this song - the acoustic version caught me off guard - few songs are clever, utterly enjoyable, well crafted and yet also heart achingly reassuring This is a song about emptional honesty, self awareness, acceptance and being your own best friend .... Sort of minds me of Ane Brun, Joan Armatrading, Janis Ian, Judy Tzuke, Judy Collins, Tracey Chapman - strong, vibtant yet also thoughtful and vulnerable.
