That's exactly how I do it. I do use a rubber sleeve, thou, on the plier. I find it grips better. Now, one thing I do differently is that I test for any leakage before I place the h-block sleeve back on. Reason is that I failed once and ended with a mess just because that sleeve covered a mistake I should've noticed straight away.
@@dandesigns3d because my printers are in enclosures, I test the print without the sleeve. A short 30 min model does it, as long as temp is a little higher than the one you normally use. Like, 220 C for PLA.
How do you get a software update? mine doesn't looks like yours, also if u can, can you make a video tutorial please? btw nice video help to change it , and hope works well hahaha
i would recommend you remake this video. Holding your heater block with needle nose pliers is a no-no. Look at your video when you are putting it on and you will see your heater block twisting. Much better idea using a wrench on the heater block.
Thanks for watching. It's pretty hard to get a wrench on it without disassembling. The pliers work fine you just have to apply pressure opposite the socket wrench. See 3:03 the pliers actually tweak the heater block the opposite direction of the socket wrench. That movement is not much or harmful and will happen with a wrench too.
Had to contract creality, my s1 pro nozzle was just getting tight after putting it on with me fingers, then sudden stopped catching and got loose, and now there's no threads on my heater block

That is a good idea. Do you just print that first print without the boot or remove it and check after the first print?

Why is your level menu different? I dont have those values pop up, only what you see on screen at 4:31
I am probably on a newer firmware than you are. If you want to update yours check out this video ua-cam.com/video/GEZkwkDDf1g/v-deo.html
what firmware are you running? mine doesnt have that breakdown of the auto bed level like yours and i'm super envious lol
I'm on 2.0.8.28F4. I had to log into creality cloud to find it.

Uh why do you have a touchscreen, mine doesn’t. Is that an upgrade you did?
You probably have a base model ender 3 s1
@@ChaseGoods hah, you’re probably right… thanks 😊
Thanks @ChaseGoods . Yeah the touchscreen is one of the upgrades on the Pro version.
no one noticed the double nozzle switch hahaha
I don't see what you're talking about. Maybe you skipped around in the video.
@@dandesigns3d At 4:00 the new nozzle is brass, and then at 4:03 it cuts to being steel coloured 🤔
